The rise of OnlyFans

Don’t be fooled by what you see on social media. It’s a minuscule percentage of content creators who make a living wage off the platform.

I'm sure this is the case. I mean it has to be.
But this market wasn't even a thing not too many years ago. I know a couple of people who've made plenty more than me for less effort.

But it's probably a fast paced market too where you can fall from grace quite quickly.

And unless you're meeting people it's a great target for AI models.

There's a very steep Lorenz curve, some girls earn a great income, some are instant millionaires even. Many more are getting say £50 a month to show their boobs and fanny to a couple of incels they went to school/uni with, their dad's creepy mate and a few random strangers.

They need a sales funnel* and if they're don't otherwise have an initial following elsewhere then they need other girls with an existing network to refer them/collect referral fees and help promote them.

*Reddit, Instagram, dating sites etc.. the PhotoAI app creator has mentioned that one of it's uses was to create multiple fresh photos of the same girl in order to create more fake Tinder profiles with links to her Instagram etc.. and in turn to her OF site. Likewise, viral tweets often have controversial or funny or just dirty comments from OF bots (or min wage humans in the third world) trying to promote some girl's site.

Celebs and social media people with a following or people who managed to go viral for something can make a fortune - for example, this former reality TV guest has made 60 million from it.

This is entirely accurate. The market is completely oversaturated and unless you have a speciality fetish/market to go into with a decent amount of high quality content from the off whilst maintaining an aura of approachability and hot girl next door look, it’s almost certain you aren’t going to make anything like what you put in work wise.

e: oh me oh my, edited thank you.

Well apparantly they check every single content post for things that are banned/illegal/underage etc, I don't mean replying to posts or responding to the simps sending pics of their snatch.

They aren't doing that with 41 employees
It's probably contracted out and therefore I assume wouldn't come under the company head count.

Surely that can't be right can it, who the hell does the moderation
Often the girls nominate someone who is on their site/channel a lot. Usually it's someone who is a regular and active in the chat, tips a lot of cash, etc...
They do it for free, for the honour and duty of working to protect their chosen idol, and because they get full access to all the idol's content for free.

That might be the case for things like Twitch, but I’ve never encountered it on OnlyFans. The high level simps who are spending the money are too busy thinking they have some form of relationship with the content creator, which would be ruined if they got wind that the messages they are getting are generic or not actually from the creator themselves.

That is so... I dunno. Depressing!

That's how they do it on all the camgirl-chat sites, and while I don't know about OF specifically, that's how they do it on similar content-paywall sites.
The girls here at work who so that sort of stuff use their own 'fans' to moderate. Most seem to know the reality of things, but happily help out anyway. I suppose that's the 'next level' in their form of relationship with the girl, or something. Maybe they don't have what it takes to be a forum moderator (I guess OCUK ones don't get paid either?) but still crave the same power...?

But certainly they seem to know what they're getting into.
