Depending on what kind of RT used, that's pure raster so kinda expected given cyberpunk is similar at the same res. Enable even DLSS 2 though and the fps doubles, with FG it's even higher.

LOTR Gollum gets 48fps @ 4k on the 4090 :D

Only RT shadows and reflections? Maaaaan ok yes I agree then this is absolutely toilet optimisation lmao.

If there's no demo then I'll get it on Steam and refund before 2 hours is up lol

Whilst doing research on a lovely discussion there, couldn't help but find this very interesting:

81.69% of the steam community have gpus with 8GB or less of vram and only 12.95% have 12gb or more of vram.

Meanwhile just over 40% of people have RT capable hardware.

I guess the community have voted with their wallets for what they deem important #RTRevolution :p  :D

Reactions: TNA

TL;DR? It sucks - constant stutters due to (lack of) shader compilation in UE4 are the *least* of it's problems.

What a time to be a PC gamer eh?

From day one this sounded like a terrible indie cash grab trying to trick people into thinking it's a AAA game and yes reviews confirm that's exactly what it is - a scam

UE5.2, only that version integrates PSO caching and RT enhancements etc. Developers will still have to do some work, just not as much as before.
They will still no doubt find a way to mess it up.

Even NV's pr wing DF are complaining DLSS3 is running out of vram.

But of that 40% the question you should be asking yourself is how many are actually running RTX On on GPUs that either aren't fast enough or have to turn it off due to lack of vram.:p

According to Nvidia stats about 60% of RTX GPU owners turn RT on

Saw the gameplay of the new spiderman

They added RT reflections but as the game is developed for AMD hardware in mind, they had to do the classic ray bounce limit and non native pixel resolution limit that's so common in game's optimized for AMD

As such, the RT reflections in the new game looks significantly worse than the raster reflections in the first game

Here is an example of the city background reflected in a window facing the camera. I'll be picking up the game on ps5 but no way will I play with RT on when it looks like that

I do hope Nvidia/AMD so far limiting their sub £400 stack to 8GB releases, doesn't come back to cause them problems.OFC,nothing a good refresh won't solve!

And yet the majority of gamers are still using <8gb gpus, so much for all that movement of wanting/needing more vram, people voting with their wallets

Be interesting to know how many amd owners turn RT on....

Hopefully pc version will get some RT treatment like the previous games did

One of the best for showing of RT reflections and how ancient/outdated SSR really is.
