The Rumour Mill, who do you want/think your club will sign/sell this summer

Although with this Cole/Reyes saga going on, you lot wont be overly bothered (not that you would be anyway! :p), for the more continental amongst you:
Official: Milan Finally Bag Oliveira
Through a statement that appeared on their official website, AC Milan announced the signing of Betis striker Ricardo Oliveira.

Here goes the exact text:

A.C. Milan announce that:

A) they have purchased Ricardo Oliveira from Real Betis Balompié and that he has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until June 30, 2011;

B) they have transfered Johann Vogel to Real Betis Balompiè;

C) they have come to a mutual agreement with Marcio Amoroso

The third point means that Milan have agreed to let Amoroso rescind his contract with the club.

Right after the announcement Amoroso revealed the club he will go play for next, Brazilian powerhouse Corinthians.

“Milan gave me a good contract, but I never played. It was difficult to decide to leave, but Corinthians looked for me, and now I will do my best for them,” he said.

Shame to see Vogel go. Very impressive player who Fergie should have gone for once he realised that the Hargreaves deal had fell through.
 
Hmmm. £5m and Gallas isn't that great a deal for Arsenal given the fact that Cole is several years (around a contract length) younger than Gallas, who only has one year left on his contract. Cole is arguably the best LB in the world and I would have thought the fee should be at least £8m.

In fact, although I rate Gallas very highly, I'd almost rather have sold cole a month ago for £20m, and then used the money to sort out some defenders - it's been left too late now.
 
Well if previous years are anything to go by, the stories won't all be made public by midnight anyway, it'll probably take at least another 30mins or so for them to filter through.

I wouldnt have wanted Ronaldo anyway.
Come to think of it, i dont know anyone who wanted Ronaldo at Milan. :p
 
The deal may well have gone through, they only have to complete the deal by 12, not announce it to the press, like HangTime said we may get an annoucement later
 
Reyes Overjoyed At Real Move
Jose Antonio Reyes says he is the happiest man on earth after sealing his dream move to Real Madrid this evening as part of the a deal that sees the Spaniard swap clubs with Julio Baptista.

Reyes has pleaded for a move away from Arsenal and has finally got his wish with hours to go before the transfer window closed.

He will spend the next season on loan at the Bernabeu, while in return 'The Beast' will be with the Gunners on loan, a year after he snubbed Arsene Wenger in favour of a move to Real.

It didn't work out for the Brazilian player following his move from Sevilla, but he'll be hoping to impress in the Premiership.

Both players could make their moves permanent at the end of the current campaigns.

Reyes told Spanish radio station Radio Marca: "Now that I have signed, I feel like the happiest man in the world. However, until I had signed, I was not calm.

"On Wednesday evening I was told everything had been done.

"Arsenal gave the okay and Baptista was travelling to London - then I began to believe it."
