Definately get the Sapphire card yes. Unless Strix is a lot cheaper. I bought Strix first but returned it cause temps where horrible. Quiet card Tho, but i suspect THE nitro is quiet to. Sapphire has great temps.

i have the powercolor red dragon vega 56 overclocks good and nice and cool never had any bother with it. the 3 fans keep it very cool.
Guys can you look at this video for me? My pulse makes a weird soundhttps://youtu.be/mdHU3KSacqM
Its not coils Tho. Its the fans. I removed the fans and spun them. They make some clicking Noise. One a lot worse than the other.
It doesn't matter for a few seconds,I did stop One fan, the noise was a lot lower. You Arent supposed ro stop fans Tho
I dont really hear anythingGuys can you look at this video for me? My pulse makes a weird soundhttps://youtu.be/mdHU3KSacqM
I def hear coil buzz, but it's so feint I'd actually be happy with it. I think I hear the fan speed drop and I can hear that the two fans aren't quite in sync with each other.I dont really hear anything
I would ask for an rma then.I Will make a new video where i film before the fan starts and when they start so you can hear the difference. Sound is the same if i run stock or not. The card is only 3 days old.
Ah hmm okay.
Do I have to undervolt it ? Because I read some reviews that it can get hot.
you should lower the volts too, its not just about heat, it does reduce temps, but also power and noise etc, so its worth doing. most cards should be able to drop 100mv of each p state without much issue. The idea with under volting is you reduce the maximum voltage which reduces heat. Even if you increase the maximum power setting with under volting it can cooler than it was before.
The only change I made to mine was to increase fan speed to 2000rpm , target temp to 65c and the memory up to 900. The max GPU temp it hits is about 65c and 70c for the RAM but only for brief periods. I am not really interesting in putting a lot more power through the GPU for a little extra performance.
