To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your Vega 56.

How is the red dragon compared to the pulse? I'm waiting for an RMA for the pulse but probably the next time they will get stock will be in January. Should I bite a refund and pay extra for a red dragon?

Can they not meet half way and ship you a brand thats in stock?

They said no. And when I asked the second time around on this forum - I got a response saying "as you were told before, that is not an option". Ridiculous...

Makes me want to completely abuse their system and the 14 day cancellation policy and just buy two GPU's in a row while I wait for my RMA...

Blast!! - thought it was too good to be true. I've got a problem where every now and again the Radeon Settings application shuts down. What will happen is that the screen will freeze for a few seconds, then go black and I get the 'No input detected' message on screen. The PC then reverts to desktop but the Radeon software has closed. I have tried a clean reinstall of the software suite and have used DDU to try and clear everything out but to no avail. I'm running Windows 10 which is fully up to date and have tried both the current Radeaon software and the latest 18.12.1.1. Whilst this usually happens in games it has also happened when I've not been stressing the card at all - browsing t'internet or using MS Office (which is why I wonder if it's not a problem with the PSU). System is:

Gigabyte Z97X motherboard
Sapphire Vega 56
8 Gbit/s RAM
GoldenFlower 80 Plus 550W PSU

If it IS power related (and I know that the PSU is on the light side - but it did cope with my R9 290 full tilt)- then I'll bite the bullet and get a new PSU - but I didn't want to do that only to find there's an incompatability elsewhere. Does anyone have any suggestions of things I could check or ideas as to what the issue may be?

Hi - I’ve updated the motherboard BIOS to F9 which was the latest I could find. (sorry - should have mentioned that)

I had BSOD error on final part of updating drivers and didnt realise there was one version on the site newer than one I last flashed. Touch wood its going good so far, been gaming on it tonight and switching profiles well. The vaguest of vague notes from the mobo site but was kind of hoping your issue was able to get a newer release.

I guess trying another PSU is the best option then.

Ive had exactly the same twice when i tried to push my memory over 960mhz on Firestrike. One at 980mhz and one at 970mhz. Gone back to 950mhz at 1000mv. Odd that yours is doing it unstressed. I'm on a 620w Seasonic M12 2 Evo PSU.

Yes - in a way I wish it only did it under stress as then it would clearly point to a PSU issue :(

Seasonic Prime Ultra Gold 750W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply> £119.99 was £144.95
Looks good - but to be honest more than I was expecting to pay (I suppose I had more ~£80 in mind but there doesn't seem to be an option in that range...). But, then again - it does look like it would keep me going for the foreseeable future (what with a 12 year warranty). Just hope that a PSU change will sort the issue - otherwise it's getting to be the most expensive cheap upgrade ever ;)

Update - so I've been using the Gigabyte App Centre (or at least it's been installed) with my PC just to check fan speeds/system temps etc. Wondering if this could possibly cause conflict with the Radeon software I've uninstalled it and (so far) the Radeon software hasn't crashed once either idle or at load. Is it possible that this was the cause of the problem? (One of the issues with intermittant faults I suppose is that you never quite know if you've fixed it...)

Hey guys,

im currently running a Red Dragon VEGA 56, but my LED for the red dragon logo isn't on? Is there a setting or one of the switches etc.. on the side of the card for this?
