I don't know, debugging driver/game engines is far above my pay grade.Have you had any feedback from them about it? ie is it looking like a simple day-fix or am I best off breaking out the laptop to do the rest of Nessus ?

From memory it's a lot worse than a 1080, roughly between 20-50% worse

Yeah, I read that Article when it was released. But, there have been several driver releases since then and AMD usually bring good gains after a few driver revisions. So I was hoping that maybe things might have changed a little.
With VR the biggest improvement is obviously supersampling, which requires a pretty massive increase in performance, so from a 1070 I think it's either a 1080ti or next gen that is needed.
I'm using Vega64 with Oculus. Not experienced any issues. Games such as Robo Recall work flawlessly (currently using 1.2 pixel density).
Are there any apps you'd like me to try?

Good to hear you are happy with the VR performance. I am using 1.3 pixel density on the 1070. Would you be able to try 1.5 in a few game san see what the performance is like?
