The RX Vega 64 Owners Thread

Hey there, I just picked a second Vega 56 second hand to complement my liquid cooled 64, i bios flashed it to a 64 and I was wondering if anyone else has xfire vegas so I can compare to them I get 13000 in time spy which i think is a great score, but i got 9370 with one card so it hasn't really scaled well.

Need someone else with xfire Vega setup to help me compare and set these up, do i set them up individually in wattman or set the primary card only and the other one will follow it like in previous xfire (7950 was the last time i did xfire)


Black ops 4 doesnt xfire at all (yet? or ever?)
And the games crossfire works on its barely scaling %20 (escape from tarkov+ PUBG to be precise)
Any help at all would be smashing :)

Presumably it's just better out of the box, There's one thing they all have in common and that's the need to tweak them for the best performance, Mine's a very different card to what it was like out of the box. It's not the sort of tweaking you can do in one go, I've been playing around with it for weeks so I get why some people would be put off by it. But, for someone who enjoys messing around you can get some good results. I did and mine's not a particularly good clocker.

Out of the box the Nitro is better, as it has very (and i mean very) aggressive BIOS and is not shy to boost the fan to 100%. As you see from the video-benchmark when the field is leveled the difference is tiny, yet still at max power......

However if you tweak both the Red Devil and Nitro as same settings, they will both perform the same.
Tbh, we need someone with red devil to try the settings on the previous page and give us an indication of perf. It could be that is better than Nitro, as somehow the Nitro has issues with certain voltages.

I tried 5.2 briefly with 1.4v but got a crash during the firestrike combined test. I’m a little concerned with giving it more voltage to be honest, it’s a massive jump from 5ghz @ 1.28v to 5.2ghz @ 1.4v or higher. Not had anytime to restest and play around since yesterday. I’ve a pretty busy day tomorrow also but it’s something I’m determined to do.

Rest assured, I will beat that score of kaaps lol. He lives 2 minutes from me, when I beat it I’ll be knocking on his door :p:p

Sorry try what exactly? The settings from "meh?" and Firestrike graphics score?
