The Show Off Your Tattoo Thread

Some of the tattoos in here are amazing, shame i dont suit one otherwise i would have a couple by now - toyed with the idea of a barcode type with my year of birth in roman numerals but in normal letters underneath like a real barcode..sounded wrong the first time and still sounds wrong.
 
I still kind of want a tattoo, but have no clue what to get, where etc. I'd also need to get in shape, otherwise it'd be a fairly pointless exercise :p

Probably doesn't help that, for a few years in my teens, I was convinced I wanted some massive tribal/barbed wire tattoos, which now makes me :rolleyes: every time I think about it.
 
Has anyone here had any work done in the Bristol area? The only places I've looked into have all been lick n' stick places covered in boring templates, with only one exception but their artists' style didn't match what I was after. This would be my first tattoo so would like some confidence in the artist doing it. Any recommendations?

Skin Deep is a bikers shop.. they're heavily racist. I've got one tattoo from them, but not been back since.

Still can't see the point of tattoo's.

When I can keep the same background on my pc for a year I'll consider getting one!

Had my 2nd sitting today. One more to go to add all the small details and make it more 3D. The red is diluted and will heal light pinkish like inflammation. Love it so far.

I think I posted it in the Instant & Moment thread, but here's my first and only tattoo an hour or so afterwards (November).
