The Show Off Your Tattoo Thread

Whilst it didn't deserve the 'haha' another poster responded with, getting a music based tattoo is usually always a bad idea.

Chances are Anjunabeats trance won't float your boat 10 years down the line, although I think the logo is actually not too bad.

But a case in point, a mate of mine got the Plastikman logo on his back about 15 years ago, given he's no longer into Canadian minimal techno artists, he's regretting it a fair bit.

I'm all for freedom of choice, but it's evident a fair percentage of the tattoos in this topic will be heavily regretted too somewhere down the line.

One thing is certain, given the recent trend for sleeves and neck tattoos, etc, tattoo removals surgery is going to be BIG business in around 10 years time.

.

Yes they are not a good idea really.

Some highly regrettable tattoos in here and some works of art. My question is to people with sleeves etc do you find yourself having to hide it at work due to perceptions ? (question not really aimed at anyone working in CEX)

anyone live in the york/leeds area or oxford (weird mix i know but i spend my time between the cities) who can recommend a tattooist? dont mind a wait for a appointment as long as its worth it.

In progress. She's gonna be soooo cool when she's done!

edit: why it keeps going sideways I'll never know.

I have to - I work with some high up management in a quite well respected role. I think if I showed my arms off I would lose credibility.

Shouldn't be like that, but even though tats are generally more accepted these days, it is still not the done thing to put them on show in the environment I work in.

I don't have any problems. Says in my employee handbook that the company recognises that tattoos and piercings can be fashionable, good times.

Managed to jump into a cancelled slot yesterday with Sam Ricketts. Really pleased with this and decided to get it on my forearm rather than my calf as it was too nice to be behind me :p
