The Show Off Your Tattoo Thread

Freshly done (Still stinging & covered in bepanthen) - just the line work done & a little of the shading on the chest in the first session.

It goes down to my wrists, 6.5 hours so far - another 20odd to go O.o.

I actually like it as the lines alone. :) I'm sure it'll look even better filled in.
Cheers, still loads to go - I found the pic he took/edited just after doing it - much clearer & can see the masks fully but still got loads of ink on me still at that point & hasn't been showered off.

That looks pretty good - I'm guessing you'll be having some colour in there as well or is it all going to be black?

I've got my Mandalorian Mythosaur skull finished now (few pages back & black and red) but I'm intending on getting the rest of my arm done and getting the full sleeve with a lot of colour within the next 6-8 weeks or so. :D

Just greyscale this one.

I spent lots of time in the sun & it's likely to get a little worn by sports/weight lifting & such - colour isn't as resilient as black from what I've been told - also I kinda prefer the monochromatic style anyway :).

Looking forward to getting it finished - the first bit of shading on the chest gives me a taster for how the rest will look.

Very cool, really like the whole Mandalorian culture thing.

What you thinking of getting on the sleeve?.

Fair play - wouldn't be my choice but I can understand and respect yours. :)

This I can relate to and I'm sure many others can as well? I hated having a half finished tattoo on show. :o

Ty first of all - and I'm planning on a Dragon / Yakuza / Scottish theme throughout the rest of my sleeve tattoo. Rest assured it'll be colourful and I'll post updates once it's all done. :D

Well I have my spine booked in for next Thursday. Bricking it as I've lost a bit of weight since last time I got tattooed there so it's all bone.

My original guy has forgotten all about me so I'm not going to bother with him now. The person that's doing my one next week has some more similar work than the original guy anyway so I'm going to see what he can come up with for me now :)

Nope not heard of them...tattooist in Kirkcaldy this time. Was planning to go to the Mint Gun Club in Dunfermline but not now.

I'll post the name of the place I'm going to after I've had it done, I don't want anything to taint my view as I've seen the guys work and I like it :)

Where a bouts are you?

My tattooist makes a joke about me and my line work, Everything I have is normally lots of line... My chest tattoo was hours of line work, still needs to be completed but I cba going through that pain at the moment, the knee cap was bad enough.

I'm in Rosyth - got mine done at Creation in Dunfermline and going back to the same guy to get my sleeve done too.

Does anyone know any artists in England (specifically near the North West, but I can travel if need's be).

I've wanted a Tattoo for years, but finding the right artist and the right design/style that I like has been hell!

but after years of seaching, I found this guy who works in a studio in LA, but that doesn't mean there are other artists who do a similar style are not in the uk! so I thought I'd ask.

I'm after a greek/mythological tatt, something like this (actually, something very similar!)

I dont know if you're still looking, but if you're still willing to travel, i just cant recommend The Family Business enough. If you've waited years, then you're serious about getting it done right. You migth as well make the trip to somewhere special.

For me, its these guys:

The general theme is pretty Italian influenced work but check out Joao's greyscale and line work. It's insane. I think he'd be great for the design you've shown. Hey, maybe even Mo himself if you cant wait ;)

That looks nice dude. Especially the temple on the left hand side, shading looks really well done.

Im assuming thats a devil? If so, was that done by another artist different from the background stuff? Or is it all one person?
