*** The SKY F1 2012 Coverage Thread ***

In one way I'm happy that sky are doing this on a dedicated channel as it means I can record the practises. On the BBC red button you can't record and since my internet is crappy watching from the iPlayer wasn't always an option if I missed one.

Set every practise, qualifying and race up on series link.

I tried to series link last night and it didn't work, I had to manually set each session to record?

On another note, anyone with an iPad and Sky should get the Sky Sports for iPad app, the F1 section is absolutely fantastic. Multiple live streams, Twitter feeds and driver tracking/times all on the same screen :)

still dont understand why that georgie woman has anything to dow with f1..
she seems clueless and shes not exactly attractive imo

everytime i see her i keep getting mental images of those norwegian troll dolls

She is also a recognizable face having spent years on SSN.

I have high hopes for the coverage. Whatever your views on the Sky empire, they have elevated sports coverage to a whole new level over the last few years.

Loving F1 HD so far. 5.1 surround makes all the difference.

This, it right freaked me out to begin with! Cars flying behind me! Sounds sooooo good.

Cant wait for Sunday, I might make a small sex wee at the start with the 5.1!

did you notice with the onboard cams the sound came from the rear speaker like the engine was behind you!

Why are people talking about BBC/Sky access and interviews in the pitlane. Brundle/everyone else always ACTED like they got exclusive interviews, in reality most of these guys do dozens of interviews all weekend long, its their job, we just only see one set of them and its made to look like somehow its utterly different to all the other coverage.

I mean, the bird Brundle always attempts to rudely push aside on the grid, who is doing the EXACT same job, in the same place and none of us have a clue who she is. In italy or wherever she's from they are watching an almost identical show with her as Brundle. The only difference this year is we'll see huge portions of the sky/bbc coverage overlap and copy each other.

I can't wait for the race where she finally loses it, turns around and stabs Brundle....... I'm not his biggest fan :p
