*** The SKY F1 2012 Coverage Thread ***

Cant be worse then gary anderson, not only is he painful to listen too he's also completely wrong all of the time.

One of his tyre predictions were wrong but the Bahrain one was correct?

I think he does a good job. Ted has the onscreen abilities, Gary has the engineering knowledge. As an engineer, I relate to him.

Sorry to say, I'd take the thoughts of a race winning car designer with years of experience over your opinion. :)

As I've said before, with presenting its more about personality than pure knowledge. I can't imagine Adrian Newey would make a good pit lane reporter, for example.

Ted is the single most important person that Sky managed to poach from the BBC.

I'm assuming you didn't pay for just F1 in the first place (had it already)?

If you did pay for it, bit of a waste of money was it? :p

no its worth every penny to see the races and quali live ;)

the build up show is rubbish
the forum is rubbish
the weekly f1 program is rubbish
arknor doesn't pay for any of it.
oh my days! he doesnt pay for it! burn him at the stake!

i use my parents account so acording to skeeter im stealing and should not be allowed an opinion

so do you watch the f1 show? the testing report was pants they didnt cover barely any of the information or developments at all.

BTW apparently RBR and renault will be protesting mercedes monkey seat and rear brake ducts because they are to inovative

I've got it on series link, yet I think I've only ever watched 2 episodes. Georgie just makes it tedious.

It should be a brilliant chance to wrap up the Friday action on track and give a great preview to the race, but it just doesn't deliver, and the ones that are on when it isn't a race weekend are just terrible.

But I've stopped watching most of the build up and after race shows too (for a few years, so BBC too). I get my F1 news from elsewhere (the internet) meaning anything they tell you is usually 'old' already.

Based on that I've noticed very little difference between the BBC coverage and the Sky coverage for me (except it being in shiny shiny HD), as the bits they are doing differently I don't watch.
