im back and tbh in a lot of pain but most of you have been really helpfull and supportive so i just wanted to say thankyou so much. Im of to bed to rest up, thanks again fellas was nice of you's to put my mind at ease
Good pants are the way forward. I hate pants, but even my tightest boxer/trunks couldn't beat the traditional underpants to hold the boys in place.
Don't forget when you're going upstairs not to run.

Had it done about 18 months ago. When they are pulling at some of the pipes and stuff it feels like they are trying to pull the ligaments from your ankles all the way up through your legs and out of your ball sack. Then when they seal the 'snip' it smells like burnt bacon. Its not a sharp pain but just a really dull ache for a few days.
Had it done on the Saturday and was in work on the Monday. the old Jockstrap really offered a lot of support.

I too had an infection and my scrotum swelled considerably. The swelling might have given me some street credibility but unfortunately the colour would have put the ladies off.
At the time I had a haggis in the deep-freezer and every time I saw the haggis it reminded me of my operation. I just couldn't bring myself to eat it. We had a couple of Scots living next door and when we moved back to UK I asked them if they would like it and they accepted.

Wasn't a problem for me at all. The anticipation was worse than the event itself. Only thing I had an issue with was the antiseptic liquid they put on after, it gets very hot indeed!
I was up and about pretty much normally 48 hours after, just had some itching from hair regrowth.

The snip for me has been no biggy tbh. No pain there whatsoever, the hernia site however dear god that hurts, cant cought, laugh, sneeze or walk properly its pathetic lol :S I belive most places are doing the NSV now im sure thats what i had done.
