La Plagne is definitely worth 2 days.

Aye, been to Les Arcs last year. I tend to just try and explore the entire mountain unless I find something interesting to a bash a few runs out on. You can definitely manage a 4day/2day split between the two.
Aye, looking at the map it's all blues back over. From memory though, you would take Grizzly up and then it's an easy blue over to the bottom of Derby and just keep going until you hit 1800. Mostly cat track type stuff if I remember right. Is there an easy was back from valandary/ plan piesey to arcs 1800? Mrs will be knackered after a day in la plagne so looking for something easy!
Currently only looks like a lift up or a walk over a blue run.
Where you skiing or boarding in la plagne?

I was skiing. One day we made the fatal mistake of coming back from La Plagne via the bottom of the Plan Leschaux/Bauches lifts. Avoid this like the plague, it's a 5 mile flat cat track. It pretty much finished off one of the girls that was with us. You need to make sure you give yourself plenty of time to make the cable car back, especially if you're in 1950/2000 as you need a few more lifts after that to get back over.
Then heading off to Whistler on the 22nd for 8 days! (aslong as my Canadian eTa gets approved...
Finally, off to Avoriaz tomorrow and cannot wait
Good luck in Whistler! I went to Sunshine and Lake louise and the Canadian resorts are amazing. Whistler is on the bucket list...
Wow it's a good job I came to this thread. So much going on lately and booking 2 weeks in Vancouver was a spur of the moment same day decision so applying for this totally slipped my mind.
I'll be in Whistler for 1-2 nights end of the month.
My trip isn't a boarding trip - but i'm meeting a friend and she's going to drive us up to Whistler and also recommends we visit Kelowna too. I've not heard of that so should be interesting.
Had great boarding weather here not long ago but by the time my gear arrived the weather was awful. It's just really wet and windy here at the minute
So can't wait to get out to Canada and get some boarding in. I'm just going to take my boots/bindings and rent a board I think.
There is actually a leniency period at the moment, but better to be safe! They came through 72 hours after we applied, so was getting a bit worried but think it was just because I've had surgery in the last 6 months so a person had to look at it not just a computer.
Can't wait - conditions look awesome. 163cm in the last week...
First Snowboarding holiday in a few weeks for me, going to Snowbombing so quite a lot of drinking is going to be involved too
