The Sony A73/A7R3/A7S3/A9 Thread

You are a professional though so you have a reason to go over the top :p

It doesn't mean it doesn't hurt lol It pains me to see so much spent on batteries. I actually needed all 6 last weekend.

Each one lasts around 4-5 hours, I was there for 16 hours but in the evening I switched to Canon so to be comfortable, I really need another 2 more to make it through, then 2 more as back up.

Wow that’s a lot of shots. I record raw and jpg and get about 1500 of each per battery so that means you are taking more than 10k? Wow

Noooo.

I didn't finish the 3rd one.

Started at 8:30am. At 1pm I swap over to the 2nd set, each battery was around 5-10% left.

At around 5pm I swap over to the 3rd set. Never finished off these.

I did kill off 1 battery in round 2.

at 7pm I was using the Canon with flash.

I did take a few shots with the Sony later on with 6400 ISO etc but it was now and again.

I have reserved a Tamron 28-75mm to pick up tomorrow, they said they would hold it for me until the afternoon.

Just had the Sony replacement battery and charger turn up, there goes another £90 :p

I'm looking for one of them, can i have a heads up when you are ready to sell? Got money waiting. :)

Will do. Ill be putting it up on here this weekend, will give you a shout when I do. Its UK, none import and Ill supply the receipt for any warranty claims. Got it from LCE on 24th May so not very old :)

You’d think at that price they’d include one. I got one with the R, good job as I couldn’t be doing with using the usb cable.

Why do you switch to canon in the evening?
Where are you getting batts for £50? I paid a bit more than that :(

I paid £75 for the batteries, hence £300 number (4 batts).

I went to Canon in the evening because i don't have any Sony Flashes yet and I need ETTL with a mix of Manual.
