The Sony A73/A7R3/A7S3/A9 Thread

Get Godox (I am going to as well).

First, get a X-Pro trigger for your camera.

Pick the head that suit you, go for ETTL, then decide on size and whether you want AA or not.

and also AD200 for off camera flashes if you do OCF.
Been doing some reading on Godox, any reason you recommend the X-Pro for on camera opposed to a flashgun that has controller capability built in?

Was considering the V350S as I thought the smaller size might make a good combo with the Sony as a general walkabout. Also really liking those AD200 units however just sold my Lencarta studio stuff so will leave it a little while before invest heavily into a new system.

Will probably end up with both but the trigger is cheap and actually fires IR !

Full size SD. The the Sandisk 64G 95mbs is the one I go for.
I'm being a pain now, would there be much of a real world difference between the following SD cards, does that 5MB/s make a difference for general shooting on an A7III?

SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC Memory Card up to 95 MB/s, Class 10, U3, V30
SanDisk Extreme 64 GB SDXC Memory Card up to 90 MB/s, Class 10, U3, V30

Looking to grab several cards so the difference in price soon mounts up.

I can't comment as I never compared them side by side but I would guess you wouldn't be able to tell.

I am going to stick with my philosophy of buying lenses…."save up to get what you really want and nip that upgrade bug in the bud."

Will have 24GM, 35ZA, 50ZA, 85GM.

I was talking about memory cards when I said Sony G. But bizarrely I will have 4 GM lens

24Gm, 85GM, 24-70GM, 100-400GM

Rest are all G or Zeiss lens and not bothered about getting their GM versions as they are either too big and heavy or have issues with not taking screw on filters.
