Unlucky then. The Tamron are ace, enjoy itWell, just traded in my 55mm f1.8 and 28mm f2 and picked up the Tamron 28-75mm (the lenses covered the cost) and took a few test shots and I like it already... sharp and light. Can't wait to try it in the studio.
I assume from the amount and expense of gear you buy that you have heard of sample variation, right? Well, I unfortunately got 2 lemons ranging from awful to poor, both field tested with lots of hikes and studio shooting, and decided to call it quits on that lens.
Thanks. No you are probably right but it was the only one i got just when a gust of wind blew her hair up. The rest, Sony eye focus did its job well.
Only thing I did find was that sometimes it struggled to find the eye because it wasn't recognising a face!
Today I am going to try and take my crappy soft, flare-prone, displeasing 55mm f1.8 back and swap it for a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8. Wish me luck!
Nope, why would it be a Canon fit when I have an A7R3? But yes, great lens with lovely rendering. Is that a Canon fit Tamron? I have this same lens.. Lovely piece over the Canon equivalent so would be very happy if it works on the A7..
Nice low key shot Raymond. As far as I can tell it's poolside. I'm viewing it from my phone. Would this be from the same venue in which you were having trouble with your flash?
