The Sony A73/A7R3/A7S3/A9 Thread

He didn't link to Pana moz though.

Nothing wrong with going grey provided you are aware what you're getting. All my lenses are grey imports but not everyone will be keen.

Once the warranty period is over they are all the same. Canon will repair a grey lens if you are paying for it. The only difference is that CPS won’t let you register it.

My next camera upgrade just got a lot more interesting. Sony just announced the A7Siii, some decent specs but the EVF has a whopping >5m dots and just as I type this.....I've just remembered what day it is. FFS.

I am so annoyed with myself but quite hilarious, been a while since I was fooled without an inkling of suspicion.

I was also going to post in a Nikon Z6/Z7 thread (if there is one, otherwise the general thread in this sub forum) that they are releasing a battery grip with a second card slot ! Again making upgrade choices more interesting, then I saw the name..........

Jared did well this year :p.

That’s a big purchase!
I think I’ll get the use out of them so took the plunge, the 24-70 will likely get off loaded to cover some of the cost. The annoying part is ******* finally replied this morning and offered to price match now do I cancel and re-order to take advantage of the 3 year warranty.

Are the Sony 300MB/s cards worth having for the A7III? Was thinking a 64GB on for uncompressed raws in slot 1 and my 128GB Sandisk 95MB/s in slot 2 for any video and jpegs.

Having issues with my a7iii and my 85mm GM 1.4 at the weekend. I went to Whitby goth weekend and had the camera set to single shot, CAF and the human eye focus switched on with wide area. Found that often on a half press it wouldnt pick up the eye about 50% of the time but on pressing the button on the lens which was set to eye focus it nailed it every time. They are meant to be doing exactly the same thing. Any ideas anybody?
