The Thing 3D Printed Case

Thanks :D

I did solve the cable issue with 45 degree angles now the cables will route nicely behind the MB

I also did version 2 for the back panel. What do you think about this design?

Here is couple of shots with the gpu. I dont know yet if i want to paint the silver on the gpu little bit darker to match mb or orange.

What an amazing job you done. Love the GPU colour would suit perfect with my build. Haven't seen to many white/orange combos but I love how it looks on that.

Must say case looks amazing but bad for dust.

Also must say tad disappointed I was expecting a John Carpenter inspired case. :)
Reminds me of something you would find on a Corellian Corvette.

I want to hide the cables for mb so i did this cover design. This will hold on by magnets.

Lovely build, does give some inspirations for others as well !

Do have one small question. What program are you using to make the build plans with ? Or if anyone else knows, I be interested in know what it is.

Looking forward to see the final build !

I have big problems with the printer that i am using so this has been delayed. But now i have all of the parts printed so i can do final build. For now i am leaving out that cable cover because i dont like how it looks.
I use MS 3D builder for this model and little bit of Fusion 360.

Question, isnt printing like this quite expensive, what would be the cost of printing both the test parts and the final parts?

I use colorfabb economy PETG and it is 49,99€ for 2,2kg of filament. I have used two to make test parts and final parts.
I can make all of the white parts with one spool.
Orange PETG i use 1kg and its 35€

So the big printer is out and it didnt finnish the last part so i have to make this model to fit smaller printer:D But i think i can do that so more delay for finishing this build.
