The thread which sometimes talks about RDNA2

Is it likely to be the same time of day as the CPUs for the 6800XT release? 2pm on the 18th? Has a time of day been announced yet? (pre-preparing with some calendar notifications lol)

Does it matter if you don't get it at launch? I can certainly wait it out if the AMD cards are a bit faster and cheaper than Nvidia. Some people are just plain impatient.

The drivers are a non-issue. I've owned AMD gpu's for over a decade and can honestly say they have been great for at least the last 8 years. I didn't even get problems with the 5700XT.
They didn't have the features before but now they have tons of stuff which I don't even use.

That a question for me or just in general?

Personally doens't matter, but i'd like to give myself the best chance :D I'd like to have my upgrades done by the time Cyberpunk comes out lol

No denying that, I’m just saying I think people are in a bit of denial if they think there’s going to be no problem with supply initially.

Of course there will be a problem, the same problems hit the 5000 CPUs, little stock on launch that sold out in minutes, so everyones now pre-ordering, and getting their queue positions, which are in the hundreds/thousands.

Happens at every major launch so nothing new there. Hopefully every time stock comes in it's more than a few cards here and there like the Nvidia launch.

Still curious how the 6800 XT would perform on an Intel platform with Rage and SAM disabled. If only some third party benches leaked..

Yeah, best get that pre-order in.

My FE turned up today, but won't be able to install until later today as busy with family.
AMD just curb stomped everything Intel has to offer, and then some. More cores, more performance, more everything. You know what's next right?

@TNA i assume you're getting a Ryzen 5000? Don't you want to wait to see how much faster again AMD are with their CPU's once Smart Cache is enabled on RDNA2 GPU's, how many more kicks in the head while they are already dead Intel get? :D :P

Agree bugs! But you have yet to get a 6000 card, and are sporting a 2700?

Ok man calm thee teets and let's wait for 3rd party benchies shall we ;) :D

Didn't say anything about GPU's tho yes i am assuming AMD's event was not over promising, they sand bagged Ryzen 5000 a little. :)

Let's hope not, I for one would *love* to see them smash it out of the park and be a great overclocker to boot! And for the cherry on top for their DLSS-alternative to be spot-on too and usable in any game

It would make the times we live in interesting, we need something positive to round out 2020. AMD on top with GPU's and CPU's would be enough to call a good end to 2020. AMD have been out of it for 10 years, its about time. :)

you may as well start posting userbenchmark because semi accurate is a shill website

Semi Accurate has been one of the most objective and truthful websites currently present - it's independent from the Intel/Nvidia lobby circles - you know how much money those throw to buy their customers.
