TBH i think Ampere had less than 1200 units in the UK (i think it was in the tens per retailer) so this may be better somewhat.

Also them main thing is how quick they can restock after, if they can do 1200-2000 a week that would be much better than the 3080 situation

its understandable, I assume ramping up cpu and console production will take priority over gpu. Those are projected to earn more for AMD
than potential gpu sales, specially given in the past people don't buy AMD gpu even when competitive.
