I honestly don't see the point off releaseing new cards if there is no where near enough stock it's just damages reputation of the companys and the whole pc scene. Even people who don't even want the card and possible don't even own a pc will be trying to get one just to make a profit, its a sad state of affairs.:(

Enjoy the ban?
Technically.. no? They are showing a product on sale at a company, OC don't even have any webpages for that stock or item so I guess he aint in breach on a technicality?
If I was OC though aint there an NDA? I would be all over that report button if I was OC :p

You should familiarise yourself with the rules too then

Because PC master race just keep throwing money at it because it's a luxury item not a common console.

What makes it a"luxury" item exactly? A new "full fat" console costs £500, not as if a 6800xt is drastically above that in pricing terms, going by msrp at least.

Technically and actually yes it's a total breach of the forum rules ;)

When can we expect reviews to be out tomorrow? I am keen to see some benchmarks! I am planning an upgrade soon, moving to an AMD CPU and despite first wanting a 3080, I am now seriously considering a full move to AMD!

Don't quote me but Im sure it's review on release day at release time?

So how does this work.

Retailers put up thier stock at a random time?
So it's not like concert tickets where basically the 'buy' button activates.

The item etc suddenly appears?

This is so bizarre. I've never considered partaking in launch hype. But my gpu is so old and stock times are So long if the price is right I want to be in the fight

I think Gibbo will pop the links on here (new thread) once ready but yeah at 2pm the stores will change to show AMD listings. This is from AMD , most likely to deter bot programmers.

No official answer, it seems 2pm is launch time in the UK, normally pages are up days in advance but this time AMD want to fight bots/scalpers by activating pages at launch time it seems.
I personally support it, means the bots don't have time to program pre launch and humans might actually get cards.

Well ocuk I believe were meant to be at 2pm for the 3080's then gates opened early like midday or something then the site crashed so the 2pm was a no go, then it resurfaced at like 4pm or so I absorbed it - could be wrong..

Hardware unboxed said Nvidia still haven't delivered day 1 orders yet so not sure what thats all about. I assume they want to sell graphics cards. Here's hoping AMD do better. Regardless expect insane demand for them and to sell out. The question will be how quickly the reups happen.

Thanks.

Makes sense. Anything that avoids bots is a good thing for all.

The time thing is a bit tricky. Not knowing I mean.

Ill have to make sure I'm signed in etc in advance and all details are ready to Go.

Are you in the queue when adding to basket.. Or is only on payment completed?
