It isn't much but least its something.

AMD in a talk show other day was saying they see this working on all games not just a select few. Maybe in game support or driver toggle?

I'm willing to bet good money that just like DLSS this will simply be a form of TAA akin to temporal injection etc
I still don't understand why they don't just push VRS harder.

I don't think we're seeing FFXSR (or whatever we want to shorten it to) any time soon though, there was a PCG article where the AMD guy when asked about it said there'd be more info on it "throughout next year" ... which makes it seem like at the earliest we'd be getting it in late 2021 if not the year after ... and I'd really want to see some 3rd party numbers on how well it does before I could write off DLSS as a distinct nvidia advantage.

I won't be playing this game on a console

Xbox series X 900p resolution and Xbox Series S 570p resolution

we're back to the Xbox 360 days guys, just feel the power

1440P to 4K Series X and <1080P to 1440P Series S. Dynamic Resolution, 5m 20s, its in the video.

Still more VRam than the 3080....

https://www.hardwaretimes.com/amd-r...ifications-leak-out-2560-cores-and-12gb-vram/

6700XT:
2560 Shaders
12GB Memory 192Bit
64MB Infinity Cache
~200 Watts

6700:
2304 Shaders
12GB Memory 192Bit
64MB Infinity Cache
~150 Watts

It'll be interesting to compare the 5700XT to the 6700XT to see how much better RDNA2 is vs RDNA.

IMO 6700XT = 2080TI.

This is all good. AMD pushes for larger VRAM capacities, it means AMD plans games that will utilise these higher capacities.
Navi 22 will make excellent Radeon RX 6700 XT | 6700 | 6600 XT cards.

Ray tracing test for Cold War

tldr: 6800xt is slower than the minimum framerate in the rtx3070 and that's before you turn on dlss

3080 is 70% faster than 6800xt
3070 50% faster than 6800
With dlss on: 3080 is 125% faster than 6800xt

Misleading, that's with RT turned on (that's more than likely been programmed with nvidia cards in mind). Without RT they're matched.

I don't get it? - EVH

This is not likes for likes comparison - you need to use appropriate corresponding settings on the Radeon, too. For example, lowering the settings in order to match the performance.
And then compare the visual differences, if any.

It gained performance by enabling DXR? Something seems broken here.

Apparently it;s tied together with VRS (Variable Rate Shading), so when RT is enabled so is VRS. Also it seems like only player character shadows are affected by RT rather than environment as well? And in the benchmark you are of course without a player character, so RT is essentially off but VRS is on, hence the performance uplift.
