The SUV bit was weird anyway - the Jimny has just been updated, with a lot of press and attention, so why didn't they use that?!? Almost like they chose the wrong cheap Suzuki
if it wasn't for Chris Harris who managed to atleast inject something interesting, and he was struggling, I'd have turned it off.
I really enjoyed the episode yesterday.
The M5 and E63S comparison was great and I even enjoyed the Sri Lanka segment. Chris and Matt are so much better and refreshing to watch than the TGT crew rehashing the same old jokes.
You have to be joking right. This is just 3 different people rehashing the same old jokes. They have literally even just copied what TGT have already done this season. M5 review, check. Rolling a car down a cliff, check. At the moment it's like a bad parody of TGT, and Chris Harris is embarrassing himself.

You realise that the M5 review, and - in fact - the rest of it was almost certainly scripted and filmed long before they knew what TGT was doing, right? It's hardly surprising that similar cars appear on different car shows, is it?
...because everyone has Amazon PrimeYes, and that's exactly why it makes Top Gear irrelevant.
No, they shouldn't. Clarkson, Hammond and May are TGT. They're a team and have been a team for yonks. If you change that formula it won't work well IMO.TGT should just offer Chris more money and recruit him for future seasons as the knowledge guy![]()
