I cancelled my windforce 2080ti so I will no longer be joining the RTX club.
It's a bit of a protest vote for them gimping the bios on the windforce 2080ti to more separate from the gaming OC.
Not that gigabyte will care and even worse my protest is even more lame because guess what card I got instead.... The cheap(relatively) gigabyte 1080ti on here!!!

The overclock stays applied when Precision/Afterburner is shut down. I don't want anything running that I don't any longer need to have on when doing an intensive task that I do want on. If you want the stats on, then that would be an issue. Stats monitoring can make various things unstable (not usually needing to re-install Windows though).
I've never had any catastrophic failure with Uplay/Ubisoft - designating it to be 'utter trash' is a little harsh.

Afterburner used to mess with my gtx 970....a crash as if it was a memory problem....uninstalled it and no more problem took a few months to try that solution

Unless you are benchmarking, I really don't see why you would need the OSD on.

Regarding SLI / NV-Link, some games are showing stuttering. Hopefully issues that can be ironed out with driver updates. Here's a good video on it:

It's Nv-Link dumbed down to SLI it's just going to be the same as it always has been....unless software devs code for it? benchmarks SLI is amazing...real world gaming not so much. same as it always had been but we are in the 5 year stretch of new mugs to the scene...

it's like £100 a month for SKY but you only really watch the main 5 channels.....£1200 for a GRX card but you only play £40 games? am I mental? 3x the price for the same experience? gtf!

It's seems all suppliers are in the same boat. I have a a MSI 2080ti trio on pre-order and don't expect it until mid October at least.

Nvidia started shipping preorders today for some. Mid October sounds like best case scenario at this point.

Just noticed the Asus 2080ti in stock with 3 units a few minutes ago and now it is updated in stock with 5 units. Perhaps suppliers are sending them in, which will be right on time for the Oct. 5th-9th window.

Edit: down to 2 units. They are going fast.
