The Turing RTX 2080 Ti Owners Thread

Have any of you tried to play SoTomb Raider with an OC?

I can run Timespy and the benchmark in the game fine.

Go to play the game with an actual OC and it crashes with a dx error!

I am on the Dual OC Asus 2080ti

Are you simply applying an offset, or did you use the NVIDIA Scanner? I've found the scanner to be fairly reliable in terms of finding the most efficient VF curve.

Well, finally finished resolving the stripped out old build for my temp rig. Ended up buying the cheap monsoon pump housing to remove the old kit and focus on building the new one for a while. Massively empty but still used copper as a last outing ;)

Oh and these fell in there ;)

More to follow but will probably move it over to a build log next week to show how I’ve already taken a drill to my 1000D :D

Time to bench on air, I will not be putting the blocks on until they go in the new rig (even if they are staring at me right now!)

Very nice mr smff :D, do love the copper. Will keep an eye out for the build log! :)

Absolutely love the 1000D and I’ve had had one as well but just don’t have the room anymore. Managed to make do with my lian-li and 3x360mm radiators currently cooling my 8086k and board vrms. Enough to fit a nice 2080Ti into the loop though.

Just a shame there’s still no sign of stock.

So you can remove the power limit on any card and therefore push to the silicon limit?.
I guess it would kill the warranty tho which is a big ask of such an expensive card.
Anyone think an update to afterburner or what ever will be able to bypass the limit without voiding warranty?

Thanks

Even if it blew it up which is unlikely as those mosfets and 8pins will deliver plenty enough power you wouldn’t be able to tell it had been flashed.

If you bricked it during the flash then you may be in trouble though.

You're not removing the power limit, simply increasing it...Although the % isn't clear without the base target.

The best BIOS there is the EVGA one which is 130%PT, even then Turing is still power limited.

Just a warning to everyone.. Having Precision X or MSI Afterburner running whilst playing assassins creed origin in the background will crash.. and never start again.
For me I had to install windows twice after trying the game more than once. Bloody Ubisoft is utter trash

Is this a known bug that is affecting many? That sucks.
