I wanted a neater solution to packing the m43 camera for flights/ travel or hiking. it's a snug fit but this Tenba BYOB 9 is as compact as you can get and slides into a normal backpack with ease. The inserts can be configured to how you want so is pretty versatile. Fits a G9 with attached 12-40mm and a 8-18mm to give you an idea.

I have absolutely no idea. I put it in the banana bowl and in a draw and left it. Took it out, cracked :/

Going to raise a repair with Olympus this week :) - fortunatley their repair service is actually in Portugal so its a fast turn around for me. Last time I used them it was great.

Still the E-M5 II? Crazy sharp images for a 16MP camera. :)

Fingers crossed! Being super anal about my kit and somewhat prone to clumsiness, I have a protector film on my G80s LCD.

@Phate what lens did you use for that shot ?

Also can anyone recommend a long lens for me ? 100mm+ seems to be lacking from my inventory either Micro4/3 or Canon FD mounting will work for me, don't mind if it's 2nd hand too

What about the Oly 75-300 or Pana 100-300 ?

The 40-150 f/2.8 seems a little exotic for my amateur status, the Oly 40/150 seems ideal though, this is the same one right ? seems to be on offer on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Olympus-M-Zuiko-Digital-ED-40-150/dp/B0058G40G6/ref=sr_1_1?fst=as:off&qid=1565546432&refinements=p_n_feature_three_browse-bin:1608593031&rnid=182666031&s=electronics&sr=1-1 £131, what's the catch with it ?

Budget up to probably £800 although I'm thinking start off cheap to see if it suits me then upgrade ?

Also considering 75mm after seeing that pic of yours :p

What MFT camera do you have? I ask as a Panasonic body will get the best AF performance from the 100-300mm thanks to their DFD technology.

There is a MK2 version that has weather sealing and an improved AF system to work with Panasonic’s Dual IS 2.

They’re both a little soft at the long end wide open, but stopping down to f7.1 fixes this nicely.
