The United Britain of Great Kingdom

The countryside.

I would happily live in America if I didn't have to deal with so many deal breakers. I could happily never leave American soil and indulge in every hobby I could ever want at a world class level. Just a shame about all the cultural dealbreakers.

Our National Parks....
From my central location within an hour I can go from the heart of urbanisation to what feels like total wilderness.

I love having that type thing available on my back door and still get 1gb Fibre. Friends in both Canada and Australia either have to drive 6-10 hours, take flights and have to make serious plans.

I love how well travelled the country is. Its been all over the globe due to tectonic plates and has many different elements which make it up. From sandstone to chalk cliffs to slate and so on. Most countries have only a very limited amount raw materials whereas the UK has hundreds. There are huge warehouses which hold samples of rock from around the country. Alan Titchmarsh did a great documentary on it a few years back. There are many more things to be proud of we are quite lucky.

It's ability to extract money from the poor, disabled and less well off and blame it on them being lazy.

Just how green it is which I suppose goes hand in hand with our climate.

Its when i travel back from my holidays each year to somewhere hot and sunny that I really appreciate just how much everything is green in the UK.
