no one wants mechs anymore apparently. I just found out about the microbig and I can't get one. Everyone would rather argue about 100w over 170w. I am happy with 15w on a mech that fits in my pocket. We are a dying breed

Really? How times have changed and it just goes to show I am out of touch with the vaping scene :p Batteries must have come a long way then if people are vaping at 170Watt +

I guess that "stealth" vaping is becoming less common now since vaping is more acceptable so large mobile phone sized mods and cloud chasers are the dish of the day. :D:o

Hey all

Anyone got any idea where I can get some Atlantis nickel bvc coils heads to try in my Triton?

Cheers all

Like hens teeth from what I've seen of them, expensive too, the last place I'd seen a 5 pack online it was around £19. Given that the atlantis 2 (and presumably triton) coils wick stupidly well, there probably isn't that much demand for the Ni200 coils.

I can comfortably chain vape a .3 A2 coil at 70w with maxVG and not get even a whiff of a dry hit.

Cheapest two I've come across are these two

I like the Ni200 coils in my Atlantis. Been on the same one for 2/3 weeks now and flavour are vape are still good. Paid £4.50 for mine locally as I didn't want to wait for delivery

Ok thanks for the info, when one of my existing coils packs up I will try to recoil one with nickel, just watched a video on youtube showing how its done.

Cheers all

That deserves a window:cool:

Cant watch, the guys a tool. A mate has one , not sure if its a clone but he thinks its the bees knees.

Not sure if this new driptip is a bit naff or if I really like it. Delrin core, acrylic outside. I do have one slightly smaller bore with a stainless outside, but it's heavier so it falls out if I shake the mod upside down :/

Exactly that, he needs to chill out a bit!

I like the driptip.

Trying temp control this morning for the first time after the Starre Pro tank arrived. So far i really like the tank itself, much better than the old Starre for filling with it being top fill, no mess. The vape so far seems good but not sure what i'm doing with Joules and F yet, got it set at 50J and 420F currently.

I found the joules depends on juice, some like it high, some like it low, I'm usually happy around 24-26j at 400f though usually around 0.07ohm, titanium is a whole other ball game, 0.1-0.2ohm runs fine up to the 100j limit, if anything taste gets better with extra power.

You can't really set power wrong on tc as it should throttle anyhow, it's the temp limit that usually needs some fine tuning.

I started it at 30J but it was a weak vape, 40 a bit better and 45&50 decent. Not really noticing much if any difference between 420 and 475F, below 400 and again a weak vape with it starting to gurgle when i got down into low 300's. Haven't tried it above 475F yet though.

I think 50J is the highest the IVP4 goes but haven't tried the firmware update that increased it from 100 to 120W, didn't see anything in the notes that indicates changes to temp control mode anyway though.
