Kbox's seem to be popular, come with a white or black ST mini

So a update to the naut mini etc ive complained about before.

So i watched more utube stuff on how they are put together and filled and i think i might have fixed my dry hits issue. Not sure if i done it properly but its a lot better now today than it was yesterday.

What i did was give it all a good rinse under hot water tap then dried it best i could. Not the coil but i did dry it a bit and let it air dry with the other parts of the naut. Next day i assembled it but this time taking extra care not to screw the coil in the bottom of the tank i just tried to finger tighten it instead of before i think i might have over tightened it. Also i made sure top part was fixed to glass finger tight it seems snug on then i filled the ejuice in and gently put the bottom part with coil in as u do but not to over tighten that as well.

I think it worked as im up to 12.5w and no dry hits, i did get a bit of a gurgle at the start for the first few draws but it went away. I DIDNT prime it this time i just put it in the tank without dropping drops into the coil shaft or drops on the holes around the thing. I wanted to avoid it incase that was the issue. Anyhow so i let it stand for a hour. Then i did a few prime unpowered hits, gentle draws on lowest air hole. Then tried vaping at 8w, it seemed ok. Noticed a lot of reviews just going to 4.3 or 4.8v so i tried them. Seemed ok. Also noticed they draw a lot in and frequently so i tried that too and seemed ok.

So far even tho i will admit im still not really getting a strong flav from devilisious custard which is popular it doesnt feel burnt or dry anymore and has a hint of flav whereas before i had none.

So out of all that i think i might be ok now, just saying incase others ever have issues is to say dont over tighten the coil into the base, dont over tighten the base into the pyrex and dont prime it (dunno if its what my issue was or not) the coil with dropping ejuice into the chamber even tho u try not to get any in the hole u might and maybe that was it who knows.

Oh and when cleaning i emptied the old juice out and reassembled it then put it on biggest hole and blew hard and i was trying to get any liquid out of the coil incase it was the problem too. Some came out of the hole and after about 10 goes it stopped i think. Then i went to wash the parts of the tank, not the coil but i think i managed to clean out any excess juice that was in the coil doing this.

Oh and another thing. Hangsen or whatever they are called, their strawberry one is defo the once that caused my glands to swollen a bit. Other ones dont so its either strawberry flavs i dont get on with or somit else in it that caused it. Other juice like custard, banana and vanilla etc are fine. So not sure if it was pg too high now or if its just what they used to get the strawberry flav in their ejuice.

Oh and ordered some vampire vape ones even tho i think i mucked up one one of em. Heinsburg - was said to be nice and popular but i watched reviews etc and notice ppl saying menthol is in which i hated in normal cigs. Tried to cancel but probs end up getting it now grr. Anyhow, do u think menthol in ejuice is diff experience from normal menthol cigs. If its different enough i might not mind menthol ones in ejuice but when i tried a normal cig one once i hated the icy burn in my throat and lungs, so much that after a few draws i tossed the packet away. Far too harsh and painful.

Other juice i ordered was rhubarb and custard. I liked the one from 1 pound online site but i didnt later as it went bad i think somehow. Maybe this more expensive one will not turn bad after the first tank fill. Supposably more rhubarb than custard in it which is what i want cos i like actual rhubarb. Cant recall if i ever tried the sweets tho of that, as its suppose to be like the sweets. Hopefully id like it tho.

D2 arrived today.

What a nice little mod. It even comes with a silicone case (which I won't use as I like the feel of cool metal in my hands).
Not sure why they elected to use a 3mm barrel connector for the charging port. I won't be using it anyway though as I have a proper charger.

It's really small for a mod that takes 18650s. It's a hair taller than the iStick 40W and a couple of mm deeper.

I've not had a chance to try it yet because it arrived at work and I don't have any 18650s with me (just got a couple of iSticks in my bag).

Looks sweet, hopeful mine should be here today too!!

Just to cement vapours oven being awesome, I just got this text message from them:

Hi Paul, Vapours Oven here, really sorry but we have had an issue with our vg/pg supply and your order is not correct please do not use the juice as it seems to be caramelising we are resending your order today, truly sorry about this

I don't mind a **** up with something when the supplier go's out of their way to sort it out and is up front and honest about it :)

it's cos no usb port can supply the ampage the charger board want's.. and rather risking people trying, they used a dc barrel. It would be better if they left the feature off all together. Mine is coming from slowtech.

But the other end is just a normal, full-size USB plug to pop in to a PC or wall wart. It's not going to charge at a faster rate than the charger can supply so I really don't get it.

I think it's likely it was originally designed to use the ipv4 charging board, which has now been removed on the ipv4s due to incompatibilities causing fires. Rather then redesign the casing to take direct musb they've just adapted it to use the dc barrel over usb? My theory on it anyhow.

it's typical p4u, if you look at the manual it says that it needs a wierd power rating for it to work.. there's no standard usb charger that will supply that sort juice. I read it in blog somewhere, but can't find the source. The best thing to do with that cable is to bin it so your not tempted or forget about it and try charging via that cable. I'm already looking for a bung to fill mine.. lol

is it? they could have changed it.. I was only going from what they was on about on that site, as I've not got mine yet. :)

I still be charging it via external thou with it being an P4U.. lol

Wonder if anyone can help.

I was after a variable temp mod and noticed TW had put £5 in my account and have 25% 0ff so this got me looking.

Anyway I was at first gonna get the Curve VT40 but then I noticed the evic 60 and thought it looked better. Even with the discounts it was £60 at TW so I looked around and found it for £47.99 as a full kit (matching tank etc) with it.

Just wondering if this is a good bit of kit (evic 60) or if there is a better one for the same price.

Been out of the game for abit so I've no idea, thanks.

The curve is basically the eleaf vt40 re-branded and they both basically the same mod, you could say that they are from the same company as joyetech and eleaf are sister companies. The evic has two batteries built in so it can last longer has handle giving out more power.

Both mods are ok, can't moan about neither for the price, and would, or I am happy about both.. Not a fan of the tank thou with the evic thou; not that I've used it. :)

Vampire vapes now do 70 vg on their liquids, no more 40 vg, will get some pinkman ordered to see how it is. Also launched a pile of new flavours, some actually sound very nice and all come in 65 vg
