What wire are you using?
TI is very sturdy stuff and ive not seen my 3mm coils move when i wick and put on the chimney top and i have stuffed the tails in to the chimney as they are so long and thick.

The aspire BVC coils are, IMHO the best standard coils you can get and there's serval tanks that will take them. Have a look at the aspire nautilus mini..

The kanger aero tanks are not very good, but still better than the protank.. I made the mistake of buying one of each size when I first started.

I agree with this, get an Aspire Mini Naitilus with 1.6 Coils amazing tank for the price and ease of use have it with an iStick 20w and its ultra portable and vapes amazing.

Have a Kanger Aero Tank on a Kanger 15w Battery and is ok but no where near as good as the flavor you get from a Aspire.

The coils are roughly the same price too 5 for £8.

Couldnt recommend the Aspire enough.

Was close to buying a second hand Apire Sub om battery and Atlantis tank for £25 to try sub ohm but got scared to spend more money ha just bought an Galaxy S6 so the other half wont be happy.

Got 100ml of Strawberry and Kiwi from titsauce.co.uk but it got sent to the wrong address my fault so just orded some more.

Anybody tried it from there?

The coils are fine , just that with 3.0mm coils the amount of cotton can be disturbed by fitting the chimney .I have looked in through the top of the chimney & the wick(Muji cotton) has been twisted slightly to one side & possibly exposing some of the juice slot.
Fairly easy to wick if not pushing past 40w but the balance between good wicking & leaking gets more critical the higher i raise the wattage.
 
Some people are really retarded, stupid and ignorant and that is my Brother. He doesn't want the Kanger Subox mini as my cousin's apparently blows more smoke and fills his car so much that he can't see out the window. He obviously caught the retard gene in the family. :rolleyes:

What a waste of money the ungrateful ****. :mad: I bought 70% VG juice as well for him for cloud chasing so that's wasted too.

On another note the atomizers have changed a lot, I took a vape on it and at 27Watts no dry hit, plenty of flavour and it was only slightly warm just how I preferred it. I've not used the muji cotton yet, just the one that was prebuilt which was supposed to be 0.5ohm but the device reads it at 0.6.

Shall I rebuild the coil will that give more vape?
 
Not been a good day today :(

Still no joy wicking the Rba on the TFV4, no matter which way I try the thing still leaks out of the bottom air holes.

Got my TI this morning and not really impressed with it all, winding the coils on my coilmaster, popping them on my mod and giving them a short 7 watt pulse and pinching them together with my ceramic tweezers, but all I seem to get is dry hits with them, I appreciate that if you vape nickel at 400 degrees f you drop the TI down to 300 degrees f also my mod is set to TI mode too.

Maybe the dual coil deck for the TFV4 would be a better option to cure the leaking problem, bottom o ring, middle o ring and rubber top fill cover are all ok.

Sorry to hear that Roman, ive been running a TI coil in my TFV4 for over a week now, re wicked it just to be sure of my method, and i have honestly not had a single leak with it and ive gone through several tanks worth of juice too, do get the odd dryish hit if i seriously chain vap, but otherwise its been solid.
As for temp, only my Kooper has a TI mode, and i run it at 300C, so well over 400F, and its been great, warm thick flavoured clouds.
On my DNA40s i have two Lemo 2, both with TI coils and temp limit set to around 185C and again both have been grand.

Was just about to edit my post and suggest Spaced coils, ive not tried contact TI coils, as i said in a previous post, i make them as contact coils on the coil master, but then i pull the ends to space them evenly ...
 
What would everyone recommend to try out with RDAs? I've had a few people recommend a Velocity clone.

Would want to start sensible at say 0.5ohm so i'm at around 35w so the VTC4 and KBOX Mini can power properly.

Kanthal A1 30AWG or would i need something lower?

Thanks guys will give it another try tomorrow, got some 0.4 & 0,5 TI thinking 3mm dia any suggestion on the number of wraps 8 or 9 maybe?

Not been using any gourmet juice in the tank so not lost any expensive juice ;)

Timewise a bit of a wasted day.

at brothers wedding, drop d2 with subtank on it, everything survives apart from drip tip which shears in the body of my subtank, spotted a bam on the way here, hope it's open tomorrow, hit as **** gaping without a delrin tip :mad:
 
Roman, using the .4mm TI, about 5-6 wraps, should get your about 0.25-0.3ohms with a spaced coil..
The last coil i did with .4mm TI, i did 5 wraps plus the two half wraps to the legs, so if you held the legs and looked down on the coil and counted, there would be a turn for each leg, then 5 wraps in between. something like this:

| = full wrap.

It reads at 0.25 ohms in my Lemo 2 on a DNA 40 chip mod.

Well thats me, i need to ban myself from online shopping, already have a HCigar VT200 DNA200 on order but i really wanted a dual 18650 mod, so i have just ordered a Boxer.. 3D printed dual 18650 DNA 200... so it will only do 130w, but thats still a lot more than i need power wise, but gives me the flexibility of changing batteries on the move.
 
Well its typical usa to uk pricing, they normally just change the symbol from $ to £ lol
But it looks like a good bit of kit and more than Just an ohm reader... its almost an unregulated box mod of its own...
