304ss was what i was thinking of going with after using the Crown coils, it took the power really well, though at 100w your battery life is going to suffer badly lol
The one thing that temps me to SS is the flavour, NI200 gives me a horrible chemical taste if i push too hard, Titanuim tastes a bit odd on fresh coils for at least a dozen puffs till it settles and then its grand, Stainless Steel seems clean from the start...

Are your coils spaced or contact Rilot?

Spaced.

Just stuck a dual 24awg, 304 stainless steel build in the Velocity. 7 wraps over 3mm coming in at 0.2 ohms. Rocking 100W with a 200W pre-heat and punch 4 on the Reuleaux and oh wow, it's kicking.

Looking to source some 304 ss... any recommendations on supplier?

Also has anyone suffered rust/corrosion issues using 304ss

Cheers

Im trying to get a few cheap supplies but am having a bit of trouble.

If you order from gearbest and choose EU Warehouse stock and China it wont allow me to order its saying pick one only.

Can I order everything from the China Warehouse and will it actually turn up?

I cannot find the stuff I need on Fasttec.

Cheers :)

The Crazy Wire Company does all sorts of vaping wire , i have had good service from them.Just make sure to clean the wire before use to remove any residue on the wire.

Got some more stock coils for my crown this morning. I hate to say it but I think I prefer them over the Aromamizer with Ti.

Just picked up my crown+RBA, starting with the stock 0.5 dual coil just now, so far so good, likes high wattage, no odd starting tastes. The only issue I have with it on first impressions is the size of it, though part of that may be down to me using a 3ml aromamizer for so long.

Hey guys, do you have a preferred method of cleaning tanks that guarantees removing lingering taste and smell? Out of bicarbonate of soda, white vinegar, isopropyl alcohol, is one of those pretty much foolproof? Alternatively, I have an amazon gift voucher and was thinking about an ultrasonic cleaner. Anyone used one and do they guarantee removing all flavours?

Ultrasonic cleaners are supposed to be the best of the best for cleaning and removing lingering flavors. Last time I looked amazon had some decent ones around the £30 mark. I've been meaning to get one for months. I just keep buying new tanks at an equivalent cost of the US Cleaner instead :D

Spec me a rainforest ultrasonic! :D

Actually, first I'm going to buy some baking soda and clean out the subtank and change coil, and I'm going to do the same with the Smok. If I detect flavour or smell from old juice, I'll buy the cleaner.

Ultrasonics are awesome from cleaning tanks. I use a JPL Ultrasonic 7000. It's about £25 on Amazon and works really well.

Snap.
Also the tanks look brand new after a dip.
I also drop my freshly mixed batches of juice in for 10 minutes , saves all that shaking .

So ultrasonic cleaners speeding up steeping from days down to hours, much truth to this? If so I'll get one delivered to work on Monday :p

It helps but IMO speed steeped juice is never as good as naturally steeped. It's better after a blast in a Ultrasonic but it still does need time

I only use it to mix , tried it to help steeping & the model i have only runs for 480 secs at a time & people have said you still need to leave it in for far longer.
Didn't seem to make much difference so don't bother now.
The water you put in does get quite warm & i imagine it could effect the nicotine levels(lower).

Cheers, I'll stick it in a dark room for a week or so then :)

What power is everyone pumping through the uwell crown coils? had the 0.5 up to 70w and feel it could take lots more.

So far a big thumbs up from me on the tank, big flavor, clouds, great build quality and cost me £21 :D Oh and top fill!

I use the SS coils in TC. Around 100w preheat settling to 25w on a DNA200

I know the Ultrasonic cleaner your talking about as I had one with the same max 480 sec timer. Had not used it that much and the bloody thing when bang the other week with a nasty smell of burnt out electrics! :p

I think I'm gonna get more expensive higher quality next time than these cheapo's.

They are a handy bit of kit.

Just back from Dublin Vapefest, was a good show, got to meet GrimmGreen and get a photo, then Dean the Vaping Biker and Todd... Came home with a tonne of jucies and samples and an ISM Imperial Custom Drip tip, and Obs Cruis and a custom C frame SX350 J mod... this mod is stunning which you will see in the pictures, but it was not cheap.

Given up on twisted Ti for now as I keep getting red glowing somewhere and for some reason and running low on Ti :o
