Actually, when I ordered from Lubrisolve over the phone, I'm fairly sure he said to me that it should be dark and that most people think it should be clear.
I just googled it and on UK Vapers, apparently PG nic takes on a pinkish colour and VG nic takes on an orangey colour.

I wouldn't have thought it should be THAT colour though, to me that looks like it's been exposed to oxygen for too long hence the dark shade of orange.

I've used VG Nic before from reputable suppliers and it's always been pale when I've used it.

Does it smell of anything?

I just opened it and had a sniff. It has a smell of nicotine. Not overly strong, quite mild. Should it be odourless?

I'm pretty certain mine is odourless, albeit mine is PG based.

I'd mix up a small 10ml batch and give it a go, don't add any flavourings to it, just VG/PG & Nic - see how it tastes.

Ive only ever bought one bottle of nic, it was 72% and VG based and it was an orangy colour that after a month or so in a dark cupboard, got a bit darker.

My koopor Mini is starting to play up. It has never shown a full battery, always 90% and now it gets to half a battery and cuts out saying weak battery. This is using Sony 30Q's and LG HE4's. To make matters worse there is no firmware update yet and to get it updated you need to go to 1 shop in the UK going by their website

Should have done my research first! So going to look at moving on rather than the hassle of trying to get an update that does not exist or risking killing batteries.... My thoughts are the Wotofo Freakshow Tiny box mod (and maybe the Cubed Atty for fun!

People aren't fibbing about the flavour the Crius has.

Been vaping on it all evening with a simple dual coil 8 wrap .5 kanthal (3mm inner diameter) setup, and even with a horrible cold I can taste the enhanced flavour over the Aromamiser with the exact same juice.

Will be picking up a second and look forward to trying some SS/Ti coils in there.

I just don't know guys. To investigate further I posted about it on ukvapers. I'm still not much wiser, but, that guy Cheekiecharlie got VG nic from the same vendor and said his came the same colour.

Judging by the posts on UKV mate I'm sure it's fine!

Tommy, how are you wicking yours? I was having a right mare last night trying to get mine working correctly.

My first build was fine! I re-built using 24g duals (~0.3ohm/2.5mm) and it wouldn't keep up at all.

If you could take a couple snaps that'd be great.

I have just bought a Atlantis 2 to go with a new 50Watt sub box from UK Ecig Store.

Apart from absolutly rinsing my eliquid. It is much better than my natilus mini and CF VV+

A few eliquid reviews from my last purchases:

13th Floor Cumulus: Tastes like E numbers and a whole bunch of them all at once. Kinda nice though. 6/10

Vaping Outlaws Four Horseman: Flavour is pretty poor, expensive. Plenty of Clouds though 3/10

Milkman: Awaiting trial

Running a .3 ohm coil at 45W

Does anyone have any recommendations for 80%+ VG Liquid? Modest price?

Join the DIY crew and make it yourself! It'll save you a ton of cash my dude!

To be honest if it tastes fine, use it. Old nic shouldn't taste different, I've been lead to believe that is badly made stuff that has the vile taste. Air, light and just age will lead to the colour change. Remember and shake it silly, it separates from VG pretty easy and is just a good habit to get into for nic (it will speed up oxidization, but I read a book on it from some site that suggest this isn't really an issue)

Will upload a couple of pics tonight for you dude (although it looks awfully messy because of the juice everywhere :p)

In summary;

- Scottish rolled and put the wick through
- Fluff it all out, and snip off any excess outside of the direct route between the side of the coil and the wicking hole (Meaning the full thickness of the wick is still within the coils themselves, just not outside of it, if that makes sense)
- Lightly place the tips in the holes being sure not to pack anything at all

It took a bit of precision/time with step 2, but haven't had a single dry hit, I'm vaping it at 40watts with airflow half open, juice holes fully open.

In the next build I'll fill the holes a little more, I know for a fact that if I had this on it's side it'd leak with the current wicking.

I use Rayon and i roll it a little tight so i can just about get it through the coils, then as Tommy does, i trim the tails to thin them down (by about 1/3) and then fluff them up, i cut the tails so they are long enough to go into the juice channels but not tight and not fully touching the bottom, im currently running a V2 with dual 317L SS coils, spaced @55W and not had a dry hit and No leaks and it been through several tanks of juice this way.

Do the same but with muji, trim the tails right down, fluff it out, then add liquid and rest the tails in the juice channels and on the deck around the channel, wicks incredibly well, no dry hits and no leaks, even with my own vg liquid which is ridiculously thick. Using dual 26g 7 wrap kanthal around a 2.5mm bit, iirc around 0.33ohm at 45w, lovely.

I see kanger have a pair of new mods on FT. A 200w and a 70w, the 200 looks like a dual 18650 subox and the 70w looks like a sexy istick 50w.

Yeah i see there is a 120w model too from Kanger, there's plenty of choice for cheap mods out there and tanks too... which could all become illegal once the TPD comes in ... but both the 120w and 200w use Dual 18650's so dont see why they bothered with the 120w?

Im expecting a new DNA200 mod in the next hour, the mod is 3D printed and based on the BOXER, its a dual 18650.
Once or If i finally get my second Wismec (from Cigreen), it will probably go up for sale in UKV, its expected end of next week...

Question for Gee. I'm all set to create my first DIY juices. Well, just waiting on the flavours to arrive from FA. While I'm waiting, I might as well decant some of the nicotine into a 30ml bottle like you suggested. Obviously the neck of the 30ml bottle is much smaller than the bottle I'm pouring from. When you decant yours, how are you doing it without spilling any, are you using a funnel or just carefully pouring? :)

My Dual 18650 3D printed DNA200 has arrived, just running the case analyser:
