Many thanks guys. Its not so much the taste i want to replicate- its the strength.

What sort of strength should I be using?

Nicotine level in L&B and Regal is 0.9mg so should I be using e-juice rated at around that value?
I'm currently using "Vapourlites" e-liquid 10ml @ 18mg Nicotine but it feels a little strong. They also have 1.1% Nicotine but i wasn't sure if that would be soft.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS. Do need to maintain my clearomisers or my battery?!

The nic levels in Fags and vaping are different, and affect you differently due to several reasons. The two cant really be compared 'like for like' . :)

Start off with 12 - 18mg (also known as 1.2% - 1.8%), see what you think, if as you said above that 18 is too high drop down to 12mg.

The nic level is one of the ingredients that give you that throat hit, lower nic will mean less throat hit. :)

Maintain them both, but obviously the clearos will need cleaning and the wicks/coil changing after a time, how long will depend on how much its used and the type of juice - Deserts / custards etc kill coils quicker than lets say a menthol juice.

Fruits and desert flavours are usually good, not a fan of tobacco juices myself. This is the only one I've not hated is this... http://www.digbysjuices.co.uk/product/oriental-plunder/

What kit have you got?

Excellent- thank you :)

Going to order some RY4 from Hangsen @ 12mg and see how it is.

Will I be better off with a Bottom Coil Clearomizer as oppose to a all in one (CE4)?

Kit is Vapourlites eGo 650 eCig

Took a good 10 minutes for the guy to persuade her she just needed new coils lol. Was tempted to pipe in and tell her to dry burn and clean them but she was just one of those dumb customers that a retailer could rip off week after week if they were so inclined and i just wanted the atlantis and get outta there :D

I tend to swap factory coils rather than dry burning, no matter how much I wash them out and dry burn they never taste right to me, and I think they do operate at a higher temperature after. I only tend to use kanger aerotanks and all the coils are interchangeable, I could rebuild them but I just cba at the end of the day its like £2 pound per head for about 2/3 months use as the juice I use is fairly clean and I use different tanks all the time.

Nice choice, I vape RY4 hangsen but 6mg, I did start on 18mg when I started vaping and quit cigs, but then lowered to 12 in 1 week, then down to 6 that iv stayed at for 18 months now, 0mg gives me no throat hit really.

Get your self a Protank 2 Mini, they are fantastic. used one for 18 months but recently got a RDA dripper etc, but I still use my protank 2 mini dayly, and dripper im experimenting with at the moment, I like my protanks consistency and simplicity and how great the flavour is from it.

Don't get a protank 3 mini, they are dual coil, stick to a single, you can buy new coils for them, simply unscrew the old base, put a new one in, and away you go, a pack of 5 coils costs a few quid, they last quite a while too actually, my missus vapes a protank 2 mini also, I change her coils once every 2 weeks, but shes not a heavy vaper any more.

But once you learn about making coils etc, you can actually make new coils for the base in less than a min, and youll never have to buy one ever again, but if your not into making coils and stuff, then a few quid for a pack of 5 coils, should last you a month and quite cheap too.

Also I recommend highly, the Itaste VW 3.0, you can get them for around 20 pounds I think, and you can change the wattage on it unlike your battery/mod stick thing, and you can charge it whilst you vape etc, they are great, I have a few for backup they are that good and my original one is still going strong 18 months on and its had a hammering, still performs like the day it arrived. flawless. but for now, the protank 2 mini will work fine on what you have.

Also, go for a 1.8ohms coils for the protank 2 mini.

Edit, also heres a picture of how mine looks, you can get different colours of itaste vw 3.0, black, white, silver.
the screen lights up with blue writing, just camera cant pick it up, it tells you power, and resistance of coil, and how many puffs you've had
and you can change the power with the two buttons below it.

I use this when im going outdoors, I simply unscrew the tank from the battery, put em both in my pocket where ever I go.

When im at home, 90% of the time I still use the same protank 2 mini, but with a bigger battery (vamov6), so I have my itaste fully charged for when im off out. and the other 10% of time when I aint using a protank 2 mini, im building coils and vaping drippers and experimenting, but what im trying to do with the drippers is to replicate the flavour production I get from the protank 2 mini. and so far, I cant do that! I guess at the end of the day, if I want the protank 2 mini taste, why don't I just stick to it haha. but its fun experimenting and blowing huge clouds from drippers.

Forget what the cig packet says (that is the amount you will get into your blood there is much more in the cig) Normally I'd suggest 18-24 mg/ml for a new vapour but if 18mg is a bit strong you'll likely be looking at 12mg as the next step down. So the 1.1% (11mg) might work for you.

Thats a fairly standard starter kit you have there. They aren't the greatest, but its better than the cigalikes (the ones that look like a fag)

Stick with what you have for now, see if vaping is for you before you start splashing out on new fancy gear.

If you get on with it and are happy and want something a little bigger and better post back and we can recommend something, vaping is moving fast at the mo so whats good now may not be in a few weeks time. :D

..... you can buy new coils for them

Many Thanks :)
Think I will get a Protank 2 Mini.
Where do you get the coil replacements from?! Any online shops?

Thinking of also upgrading to a bigger battery too from my 650mAh. Any recommendations? Thinking one which is around 1100mAh with voltage adjustment.

Might aswell order everything tonight of i can :)

Many Thanks Guys. Going to watch a few YouTube vids for further info and then going to make up my mind.

I would strongly suggest getting something with airflow control on the tank and variable power settings on the battery, so that it can be customerized to your style of vaping.

Both of what V_R have linked, have those settings...

Careful thou, you might end up spending loads on different bits and bobs; it does get addictive lol

Hehe its cheaper than smoking. I use to buy a pack of 20 a day so was spending £10 daily on cigs :)

This will defo be cheaper in the long run.

So my Digby's order came today and OOO boy the Custard is lush!!! So will order 30 or 50ml when i can afford it!! Really is a nice and smooth vape.

On the other hand though 'the King' Isnt nice at all. So shall stick with just custards from now on.

You can't dry burn the Nautilus coils easily though, you'd have to remove all the wicking material from around them and then repack it all. It's easier to just replace the entire thing :p

You can, i've done it numerous times with the BVC and as long as i give em a good wash they last a good wee while.

I've also got the mini protank 2 and itaste vv, I would recommend them both. I've only just upgraded to the istick battery - it seems to last forever compared to the itaste vv. Although I do get the occasional dry hit from the pro tank.

I would recommend vampire vape or myepack to get your kit from

I will keep the eVo 650 kit as a spare/backup.

What voltage should I be setting the iTaste 3.0 at when it arrives or doesn't it matter?!

Nice list there :)

okay, your Itaste, it has two buttons and the fire/power button. If you press the Power and either of the + or - buttons, and hold them, the LCD screen will change from V3.5 (3.5 volts as standard voltage), to wattage mode, then you simply change it by tapping the power and + or - to get it to show you how much wattage you are at, then increasing with - or highering it with +

With the standard coils not home made ones for the pro tank 2 mini, I think I used to vape at 8.5w but start out from 6w which is the default wattage, and if that's not doing it for you, just increase it, but don't stick it on too high and burn your juice and wicks, just enjoy it and vape and let it do the work for you in wattage mode,

When its set to wattage mode, its like auto pilot, as the resistance is changing, its doing the work for you and changing the volts constantly so your always getting the same amount of power, so if it says 6w, your getting 6w of power. you don't have to change the voltage all the time.

:)
just have a play with it and see what you

Start off low then just keep turning it up higher till you fine the right level. The power is dependent on the juice, some juice needs high temperature for taste and some will taste burnt if set too high.

My power settings is dependent on the time of day too, first and last thing when I'm chilling I'm at a lower watts settings than mid day when I'm trying not to kill someone. :)

MANY MANY THANKS GUYS!!
Greatly appreciate it!

I will post back when all of the kit arrives because I'm sure I'll have some questions. I'm sure as I dwell deeper I'll need more forum members advice and knowledge.

For now though, thank you :-)
