Sorry, the Wismec RX200: https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10018663/3861801-authentic-wismec-reuleaux-rx200-200w-tc-vw-apv

Triple 18650, 'real' 200w (some devices claim 200w will only do so in a very restricted ohm range). Supports regular power mode, plus temp control for nickel, titanium and stainless steel coils.

Currently the go-to high power cheap mod on the market atm.

Looks good, although triple batteries is going to be a pain to balance with only a 2 slot charger.

Out of the selection of 2 batt ones which would be the preferred?

Of all the current dual 18650 mods on the market at the moment, personally I'd go with the Joyetech Cuboid: https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...hentic-joyetech-cuboid-150w-tc-vw-apv-box-mod

Its tiny as far as regulated dual 18650 mods go, its little brother the VTC Mini was very well received so I'd imagine this will be a fantastic mod, especially for less then £30 delivered :)

Thought I would try something a bit different this time and I have to say I'm quite happy with it. 10 wraps each coming to 0.4ohms in my velocity clone.

Man.. The ramp uptime on that must be massive! Thou my 4 wraps of 26awg claptons on a 3mm ohms in at 0.36, the ramp up is next to none.

Fair enough, although i don't nessecarily mind price (although i duly note seems there is a big variation over pricing in different shops)

Not too keen on buying from usa though, planning on buying a bunch of stuff and i cba with the hassle if customs decide to stick the hand in.

Snap, but on a twisted messes clone. The amount of vapour is phenomenal! :p

I completely dun-goofed, spent £15 on 1ltr of VG like an idiot from Classikool on eBay, the same amount from lubrisolve is sub £6, idiot! :p

Ahh well, a £9 lesson learnt for next time.

Rinses my batteries though. Nearly a full charge in one day at 50w. My old batts need swapping out though. Must be nearly a year old now!

I'm using it on a DNA200 @ 60W, a couple of seconds ramp up (purposely using it at 60W to try and get the batteries to last as long as possible!). Used about 1/3 of the battery life vaping on it from about 4pm > 11pm.

Happy New year all!

Been mooching around and I am going to try the new Aspire Clleito tank. Still not decided on a mod though lol.

Having a little issue with the serpent, hope some of you wiser heads may be able to offer some help...

Basically 80% of the time it wicks fine, but on occasion it appears to get airlocked and won't bubble up, if I slacken the fill cap slightly and release some air it corrects its self, the only thing I can think of is too much wick, not allowing the deck to breath properly?

Currently use a Twisted Messes which no complaints here so far but looking to expand my collection!

Looking more for a flavour RDA rather than a Cloud Chaser any suggestions? Was interested in the Mutation V4 but have read a few cons about the bottom air holes which has almost put me off!

I've today received a snapdragon clone from FT, will report back how it performs (it's allegedly a flavour chasers dream!).

Another decent aromamiser build if anything is interested;

- 3ml top cap with no drip tip
- Single coil centred between the posts
- 9 wraps of .3(or 4)mm claptoned in .2mm kanthal round a 2mm drill bit

Came out at 1ohm exactly, running at 25W for 5volts.
The amount of vapour is satisfying, flavour is phenomenal (cinnaswirl by cali vape at the mo), and on an IPV D2 the battery life has lasted me well over a day. Makes a nice change from blasting through 2/3 batteries a day :p

I don't have the time or inclination to sift through 362 pages so figured I would just ask. Is anyone else who frequents this thread noticed any adverse affects to using their eCig? I gave mine up about 3 months ago, I had been using them pretty much since they first came out. I had a quick flaunt with one when they were all shaped and look like Cigarettes but it was crap, about 6 months later I bought a decent one and never looked back so I'd say perhaps 4-5 years or so. Anywho, around 6 months ago I started having a lot of shortness of breath, and really struggling to breath laying in bed at night times. When i breathed in heavily, it didn't feel like I was getting anywhere near the same amount of air that felt normal, it was a strange feeling like I could never quite catch my breath (laying down at night really exacerbated it). After 3-4 months of this I decided to give it up, i quit cold turkey and the symptoms literally instantly went away, never had the same feeling again, not even once. Just wondering if anyone else has come across anything similiar?

That build sounds intriguing Tommy, May have to give it a whirl at work tomorrow!

Lankoss, don't suppose you've ever checked to see if your body doesn't agree with pg or something like that? The only side effect I get is a dry mouth/nose, plenty of water and occasional nasal spray (knackered sinuses anyhow) helps.

I've tried a few peoples snapdragons and I've never been that impressed. Don't get me wrong, it's up there with the other high end rdas.. But I just prefer the hobo v3 and even the magma; which the snap dragon borrowed heavily from.

It's a good little RDA and fantastic for flavour.
Running a 1ohm clapton coil in there with a single hole open at 17.5W.

The tighter draw is much tighter than what I'm used to (even with both open), with that said I won't be forking out for the genuine article.

This thing is so damn pretty though.

Interesting! Well i bit the bullet and found what seems to be a good/popular clone of the Mutation X V4 rather than folk out for authentic as it's been an expensive time of year as it is.

Hi all,
With the impending EU directive how to future proof?
What areas of vaping should I address?

DIY liquid( been mixing awhile now)
Plenty of rda and rta ( I wrap my own always)
I own a few VW (sx mini, rx200 dna200 reloux )

I keep thinking that to move back into mech mods will future proof?

Having a couple of mechs around is always a good idea.
Personally, I'm just sticking with what I have now. I bought a couple of extras of my favourite tanks (Aromamizer, Crius, Melo 2) and stocked up on nic base just in case (got enough to last me a couple of years).
