Apple pie & custard recipe for those interested, it's my "mk 1" of this recipe but may be helpful if anyone is looking for one!

10% - Apple Pie V2 (CAP)
5% - Custard v1 (CAP)
3% - French Vanilla (CAP)
3 drops/10ml - Stevia
2 drops/10ml - EM

I have never used this amount of drops of EM/Stevia before, but my god is it nice and sweet!! Steep time about 10days and it's spot on. Going to make another batch and let it steep for a couple of weeks, no doubt the custard will come through more.

Hey Tommy, I haven't made anything with my new flavours that came today. I think I'll try adapting 5ml of your recipe.

Going to do this:

10% - Apple Pie V2 (CAP)
5% - Custard V2 (CAP)
2% Vanilla Bourbon (FA) as I don't have French Vanilla.
1% Cinnamon (FA)

A drop of Capella Super Sweet, maybe two. And maybe a drop of Brown Sugar. I'll see how that goes.

The MiniVolt is only my 4th Mod, and selling an Aromamizer paid for it. Pretty sure out B&M are the cheapest for them in the country.

One of the local guys has a paor of them, one with an Origen and the other with a Hurricane.

No more spending for me until I buy I Pylon now, was tempted by the one on SV earlier but I'd like an SXJ

Swap it out for an Aspire Nautilus Mini tank. The MVP2 is only 11W so you'll not be able to power much else.

Suggesting a subtank to someone who has just started is a bit ridiculous though!

Not quite sure it is ridiculous? I mean, the airflow is absolutely adjustable, which appears to be his main issue with the iClear. And 1.2 and 1.5 ohm coils are readily available, which will work great with an MVP. And are nowhere near unsuitable, and are easy to swap out, have great flavour and last ages.

Moreover, they come with a rebuildable deck, should he want to try his hand at that later, and when he upgrades his MVP to something a bit more powerful (should he wish to do so), then his tank can take lower ohm coils as well as TC coils.

So basically, it is suitable for his current needs, and any potential future needs he may have.

So what about all that makes it an unsuitable choice?

Have to say i think the sub tank is an ok starters tank as long as it has the higher ohm coils and not the 0.5 jobs, the Subvod kit i got my dad works well for mouth to lung on the matching ego style battery, admittedly the airflow is almost totally closed of to achieve it, but it does work and as pointed out above, it leaves room for expanding should the person using it decide to take things further.

Good luck with that sale. If I hadn't already spent too much this month I'd be having that off you. Lovely looking mod.

It is a lovely and really well made mod, but i dont use it much, too good to take out of the house and i prefer the vape off the DNA boards, so i cant justify keeping it, plus i just had to get the clutch done in my car so this could nearly pay for it lol

Wheres a cheap site to buy quality ejuice? I'm spending £12 for 15ml Ruthless atm.

Cheap and quality don't really go hand in hand, unless you are mixing your own, then its down to a lot of time/patience and trial and error coming up with recipes that will actually rival those of the big juice companies

That sounds like an awesome recipe!! Particularly the cinnamon in there, please report back how it is! :)

Give a couple of ml a go with a fresh coil when you mix it, then wait 3 weeks and compare the flavour. You'll be amazed at the difference!

I get your point but disagree, with the likes of the eliquid recipes and various FB groups all wth the sole intent of sharing recipes some amazing concoctions can be found. Of course it's all subjective so your point still makes sense to me in that regard with the time/effort needed to find personal tastes if making their own brand spanking new recipes.

Not sure what your tastes are, but I think isle of custard are very good, spectrum vaping (not sure if they still operate), worth giving 'raptor juice' and Valhalla vapes a search too.

Anyone recommend a good juice with a bit of mint in it getting bored of my soft mint stuff I buy.

Open to anything.

DB Blastberry mint.. But get the Amped version.. People including myself goes though bottles like there's no tomorrow.

Plumes' abolishmint.. Tastes like blastberry but stronger..

If your a MTL, get the plumes.. If your a lung hitter get the blastberry.

Send me a trust Tommy and I'll make up a 10ml bottle of it for you at whatever VG/PG ratio you want and can customise it for you if you want with other flavours. :)

I'm dripping it in my Velocity Mini RDA. It's probably decent but frustration hits me again, I simply cannot taste a single eliquid properly, pre-made (triphammer, etc) or my DIY. I get sweetness and a sort of caramel taste at the back of my throat, but my mouth just doesn't sense creaminess or any flavours properly. It used to a long time ago. So once again, e-liquid that does nothing for me :(

Anyway, you'll be a better judge of my concoctions than me tbh. :D I think I'll make up another one for myself at 50/50 and do 15% apple pie and 2.5% Vanilla Custard V2.

Now then, at the same 10% apple pie and 5% Vanilla Custard as you, the smell is overwhelmingly the custard, quite pungent. Odd really, as I expected the apple pie to be the stronger smell. I can't taste the cinnamon so will add a couple drops more. I can't tell if I'm tasting any vanilla bourbon. Can't really taste apple pie, lol. But you might be able to pick these flavours out better than me. Tell me if you'd like me to add some drops of any other flavours. I've got a fantastic smelling almond, (not toasted), made by Dark Delights. I haven't used it yet, but if you like almond, I think this would be the concentrate to try. I reckon 2 or 3 drops would do it.

Also, pick any of these if you want me to add some.

As good as the serpent is for its price I missed dual coils too much.

Did a nice low wattage dual coil build in the crius last night, performs brilliantly. 26g kanthal, 10 wraps over a 1.5mm peg, ~0.35ohm, super thin fluffy wicks resting deep into the juice wells, got it at 35w, air flow half way open, performance is great. May have to try it again only with SS316 next.

Just got some Heisenberg concentrate from Vampire. What percentage do you guys mix it at? The site says 10% to 20% but I'd like it as close to the pre-mixed stuff as possible.

I made up a heap at 20% and I think it was too strong. It felt like it was ripping my throat apart, and gave me a wild cough. For reference, I mixed it at 6mg and 70% VG, so none of that should have been harsh.

On the flipside of that I recently mixed up some of their pinkman, max vg 6mg at 20% and found it weaker then their off the shelf mixes, which wasn't much of a bad thing as their ready made can be a bit over powering.

Mix a few different and see would be my only suggestion, on the plus side, their concentrates are pretty much shake and vape :)

iirc I've seen posts from people mixing Heisenberg up to 30%!

I got some Heisenberg yesterday and mixed at 20% along with some Red Astaire at 15%

Will see what the Heisenberg is like when I get home from work
