Mixed my juices up the other day and decided to have a little toot on one last night - a butter mint flavour....was quite nice if not a little strong.

I mixed 8ml of 70vg/30pg 6mg base to 2ml of flavouring.
When I put that into steam engine to find out what the end nic level is (I suspect around 4.5) and it says this mix is not possible.

Probably says not possible because the nic and the concentrate will either be PG or VG. So it alters the 70/30 ratio of your base slightly. But yes it would be 4.5mg.

I sent a message to see if its not too late to cancel, I think its already sent so will probably just have to use it. I'll remember next time to order PG based nic. :p

I should have concentrate tomorrow, so will give it a shot and see how good it is. I'll probably be able to make 85% VG/15% PG liquid :cool:

It's all a personal preference with VG/PG nic. PG is probably better to work with. But I mix up 500ml batches at a time and do it all by weight so it's not a big deal for me :p
 
The SnapDragon has arrived only it is missing the spares kit and no proof its authentic and not a clone... sent the seller a mail to see if he has a copy of the receipt.

After you mix the 500ml, do you just spread it out into smaller portions e.g. 30ml?

250ML of PG Based 72MG Nicotine
500ML of VG
Concentrates - CAP Strawberry and Cream / CAP Banana / CAP Vanilla Custard / Ethyl Maltol / FA Ub3r Menthol / T juice Red Astaire / T juice Jacques Le Mon / Chefs Vapour - DOHNUTS
Various Syringes/Needles with some 12ML Bottles for my small batches before I make larger amounts.

I placed the order at 5AM after a night out thinking back wish I looked up on specific recipes online and ordered accordingly but it's trial and error for me at the moment liquid wise there is not much I won't enjoy.

As much as the shake and vape term I have enough liquid to give some at least 24 hours before I mainly use them but I am going to give the majority 3/5/7 day's.

Rather happy with this simple recipe so far (Banana, Strawberry Cream
To make 10ml:- Add 1.0ml of Capella Banana and 0.5ml of Capella Strawberries & Cream to 8.5ml of your preferred VG/PG/Nic mix.)

Also can see the Chefs Vapour DOH NUTS being a favourite.

Really glad I have taken the plunge into DIY and many thanks to all who provided me with guidance and bit their tongue and answered those noobie questions.
 
After a new tank and would like the pro's advice please :)

Currently using several tanks - Subtank mini - Delta II - Atlantis Aspire and just ordered a Uwell Crown but fancy getting another.

Any recommendations for a big cloud and full flavour maker? Using 50/50 juice if that helps.

Enjoy dude, we were all noobie once so I am sure there is no tongue biting here. We are all here to help. It can be daunting at first, having some bods around with experience no doubt made my life easier.

Do you use stock coils? Or make your own?

If you make your own the Steamcrave Aromamizer RDTA gets a lot of praise. I like mine, however it is dual coil so some thinner wire is needed.

Apart from that I am out of ideas (not big on wide open air flow) someone will be along shortly I'm sure :)

I do both. I have 2 subtank mini's and one I use coils and the other I make my own (one of the decks doesn't work), I don't mind making coils either but happy to buy coils as well. Currently using Nic coils on the subtank and a slightly better flavour but would actually prefer pre made coils as I am after something to plug and play so to speak. Ohhh and I use a billow V2 but not so much as it is a bit of a pain getting the wicking right.

I will have a look at that tank though cheers :)
 
If you want to build your own coils then the OBS Crius is a fantastic cloud chucker and great flavour tank, you can use thick enough wire to get very low ohms, though not needed on a regulated mod, i get 25awg, 2.5mm coils in mine and have managed dual Twisted 26awg, 2.5mm coils on the Crius deck as well as single coil or Vertical, its a versatile deck and tank that way, alternatively there is the Griffin, very similar to the Crius slightly bigger deck and not as good a top fill.
 
Where can one get the OBS crius, I was looking at GB but it's only available in their CHina w/house and I don't want to wait - assuming it would be about 4 weeks. although it is only £13.15.
 
Seems a good tank Tweak and will mull that one over. I should really go for another build my own coils as they do seem to give the best flavour. Cheers :)
 
Afternoon all :)

Just thought I'd drop in and show you the result of my recent vapemail! I followed someone on here's advice and got a subox and subtank from Kanger a few months ago. Anyways, it's looking a little tatty but I have been enjoying the RBA element of it so I thought I'd treat myself to some new gear......





The bellus is really rather good compared to the subtank, much better flavour and no leaks so far. And I've refilled it too.....

So now I'm stalking other shiny things.....

Goblin Mini
Rose V2s

but I really want a heron v2. Just working out if it's worth it for the price and if I can be bothered getting into an F5 war.....
 
Gave up on my Goblin Mini, the drip tip is a pain in the arse as is the filling, nice flavour though.
