I got vapemail today, my ud zephyrus v2, decent sized deck, top fill and holds a good amount of juice. Currently running it in single coil mode with a .45 SS 3mm spaced coil at 25w and its chucking a good cloud and great flavour.
Its the black tank i got and came with white o-rings fitted but there are spares in red and blue, so ive fitted the blue and my own drip tip.

Now for bad...

The o-rings are very tight, opening the top fill or trying to break open the tank to get at the deck was a nightmare, once open, getting the glass tank back on the o-rings is a nightmare.
The deck has four post holes with posi head screws, these were tightened down so hard that i had to grasp the deck in pliers while i got a full sized screwdriver on them to get them turning. The screw cut right through my first coil made with 28awg kanthal, then did it to my second coil made from 26awg kanthal, my third coil survived, its 25awg 317l SS.

Would i buy another, well, yes, the flavour is great, lots of airflow, holds plenty of juice and can be run as dual or single coil, once you sort the o-rings with some juice and crack the screws lose, its easy enough to build and wick, does not need much cotton too and looks great on a black mod.

I looked long and hard at the Zephyrus v2, been in the basket a few times, I really should get a goblin mini before one of these though.

I've heard that it's extremely good and punches way above the price tag.. that and the aeolus lite, really shows that clones are pointless when you can get a very good driper for 30-40 pounds...

I'm going to see how my luck is, I'm entering a F5 war for the most sort after dripper this evening/tomorrow morning, if I fail.. I'll be getting a doge v3.

Pay day is lurking, need something new.

Might go for a reuleaux rx200 and a VG.

Or might go the squonking route. UKDTweak has my interest... damn you. Never really been into RDA scene though.

can't say.. it's on a need to know bases... but the atty is getting flipped for the stab wood mods at the moment. The light has gone alway slightly as they found their rightful homes and the NarDa is taking the some of the shine...

The VG is a very good tank.. people's rx200s seems to keep breaking but they sold that many of them, the fail rate is bound to be higher.

There's an E7 dna30 with tank for £130 pounds on sv/nev... :)

got my contacts in at the moment and my eyes are see adjusting to my new glasses..

That e7 comes with an atty too...

The atty is in very short numbers, not as rare as the toot but people have been doing straight toot trades for them. I've budgeted £200 pounds for it.. after import taxes and everything. :)
 
Balky... Squonking is basically the same as dripping, only instead of carrying a mod and spare battery and bottle of juice, you only need the spare battery as the juice is Inside the mod :)
This means when it comes time to juice up you dont have to juggle your mod and top cap and a bottle of juice, you just squeeze the bottle and give it a second, its far from perfect though, sometime you have to squeeze a few times especially if the juice bottle is low on juice.
As for RDA's, you wont get better flavour or clouds then with a good dripper, sure some of the new tanks get close, but not close enough...
But maybe you should get a cheap dripper and try it for a few days first before shelling out on a squonker... it can get expensive.

Good drippers ive used are:

Hobo = flavour
Velocity = clouds
Magma = flavour
Zenith V2 = flavour
Infinite CLT V2 = clouds
Mutation = clouds
Vertex = flavour
Marquis = flavour
Dark Horse = clouds

I have a bottom fed Hobo V2 and Velocity clone that im using with the squonker but i have an Authentic SnapDragon on its way and it is very similar to the Magma so have high hopes for it.

Thanks dude! Will pick up a cheap one. I did get an Ego-W couple years ago when I first got into vaping, didn't really get on with it. Temp Control could now change that, as well as perhaps investing in something better than a £8 piece of metal :p
 
UKDTweak, nice collection of RDA's you've there. :D Which out of those listed did you find the flavour to be the best? I'll agree on the statement about the Mutation, it does chuck clouds! :D

Edit: Kanger Subvod starter kit (White) with 5x 1.2ohm coils, 20ml of Frozen Forest concentrate and 200ml of PG (4x50ml) ordered. I'll get glass bottles, syringes and VG from boots when I go to town.

Now, I just need nicotine, what's the best place to get it from?

IC3, thats not even all of them, just the good ones and those i remember, but they are all clones bar the Infinity CLT V2

Best for flavour... that would have to be the Magma then the Marquis, the magma's airflow is a bit more restrictive than the Marquis but the flavour is immense.

Did you get the V1.5 snappy? as there's a part coming out for it to make it like the velocity lol... I did suggest to them to use the dotmod petri style as it's far better for a flavour chaser rda but they choose to go for the velocity style.
 
The standard Hobo i have was a clone from FT, it is this one, sorry, not a V2: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1943301

The Squonker version is the same but with a bottom fed 510 pin but was branded under Sbody as it is normally sold with the crappy Firebox, i just ditched the branded top cap for my Clone top cap lol


Have to give an honorable mention to the Veritas (Marquis copied it) and Big Block 454, i have three 454 and loved them, my first RDA, good for flavour and can still chuck a cloud or two.
 
After I re-wicked the Mutation, I can get around 8-12 hits now depending on how big the hits are. :D I didn't put enough cotton first time round building the RDA...
 
Dripper wise I have:

Velocity
Hobo V3
Hellfire 16
Derringer
Mako shorty
Haze Mini
Chels Mini RDA

I don't think I own any "normal" size rdas they either massive or small...

I got the istick basic yesterday, fot the price it's not bad.. its to replace my runt which kept dying and it's worth getting one if you have any 14mm atties to run. Or leaving it in your car with a bottle of juice as a backup.

I tend to carry a mtl with me at all times as I can't cloud chase all day and it's small enough to carry with another setup all day.

With VO I aim for 20% concentrate, so of 50ml, 40ml would be your nic pg/vg base and 10ml concentrate.

I use a 100% vg base so I typically end up around the 80/20 mark
