I am a big fan of my TFV4, so much that I'm considering getting rid of all other tanks and just going with TFV4-style tanks from now on. However I'm not sure if I prefer the quad or tri coil heads yet. I used the quad for about 1.5 months and they're great, but the tri is just more a pleasant vape I feel. Today I received some clapton heads for it and a dual coil rebuild deck which I've put two 7 wrap 24 guage coils on for testing. We'll see how it performs. So far I've gone through a bottle of One Hit Muffin Man and am working my way through one bottle of Rocket Man (very underwhelmed) and one bottle of Milk Man (pretty good). They're all about £45 for 180ml
E.D.I.T.: Just put two 7 wrap 24 guage coils on the RBA deck at 0.29 ohms. With all air holes open I still get great flavour and it produces the volume of cloud I want.

I'm almost positive this is your problem:
That part of the coil looks to me like it'll be almost-shorting on the cap. Last time I had that, I was getting a metallic taste.

Group buy thing run by one person. Basically source your own nicotine and VG/PG, pay £25 for the concentrates to make one litre (1000ml) of juice.
I bought rocket girl off him (rocket man clone).
Well worth it if you can be bothered to mix your own.

I think cloudy dreams clone recipes are crap. I bought their snake oil premixed and it was vile, nothing like the TMAX stuff. It's just good for buying a load of concentrates cheaper. It's hard for me to now pay over the odd prices to yet another DIY alchemist when you get great flavours by experimenting at home.

ah so its not a premix? its just a bulk of concentrate and you mix yourself?
From what I understand it's just a 'one-shot' concentrate that's pre-mixed so you just add that to your base.
At least that was the case with a friend at work who bought the Snake Oil. Said all he could taste was cucumber!
I've used this recipe before and it was tasty imo.
My VTC Mini has arrived from FT, was sent on the 22nd and arrived today... not bad from china, it actually arrived in the UK on the 25th, but RM held it for a day extra...
Nice bit of kit and already has the V3 FM installed, but just like the Stout, the TCR for TI is badly off... and using the custom TCR to input the correct settings is proving no better, this all re enforces my belief that only Evolv has managed to make a mod that can actually work correctly and efficiently, Yihi have nailed the TCR but not efficiency... Joyetech have a way to got yet with their boards, hopefully a newer FM will come soon to correct the failings of the profiles and manual TCR settings.

Might give that a go - they even do premixed for you if you're too lazy to buy your own VG / Nic.
Would be a massive saving on what its costing me now!
I'm with Twirlywoos on this this one,you're better off just buying some concentrates you like the sound of, getting recipes from Vaping Underground or somewhere similar and doing it yourself.

It's pretty banged up tbh. It's been my work horse (shamefully) for like a year. Struggle to find something that gives as nicer vape.

I've tried looper/milkmon, they've both needed a monumental steep but have tasted fantastic.
A member on the page kindly sent me a 10ml sample of the snake oil, it's not that I think it's a bad flavour, it's just not to my liking. At all.

Day 2 of jumping in the Dripping deep end, armed with a Wotofo Sapor, a pack of wire and cotton, some 80VG, 60w of power and a handful of YouTube videos....
I'm sure you'd all have heart attacks at how untidy and irregular my coils are... but so far it's working and at this point it actually feels like an achievement for me.
Dunno what gauge wire, probably 24ga Kanthal and some UD cotton, but I'm getting 0.28ohms and nice big clouds full of flavour, nothing has gone bang or leaked and I've only burnt the cotton once.
I'm still not a full convert to Dripping yet, as it's not convenient enough for my 'on-the-go' usage, but I get why people like it and could see it as something I'd do while lazing around.
Just a shame all the best juices are too VG-heavy for my tanks...!!
