I have seen many posts from users with leaking subtanks and one guy in my local B&M, but i have all three subtanks and never had a leak, closest is when ive just re filled with juice and screw the base back on, if you have not wiped juice off the bottom of the tank and if there is any on the base threads, it will squeeze out as you tighten the two back together, otherwise, never been an issue with my three.. but it certainly is a thing for some, maybe bad o-rings, you can get a bag of spares from FT, i accidentally ordered what i thought was a 5 pack of different colours, turns out it was 50 packs of 5 different colours .... DOH!
Was only like £4.70 lol
If your tank is the Subtank Mini, send me your addy in a PM and ill send you a set or two for free.

My Subtank mini will only weep slightly through the airholes when I use the 'pancake' method of wicking, but I only do that on 70%+ VG juices.

Never had a problem with off the shelve coils or 'normal' wicking methods but admittedly my Kangertech stays at home sitting upright all the time. I use an old MVP 20W and Mini Nautilus while out and about and at work because I don't mind that getting knocked about.

Cheers for the offer dude, I'm using the Subtank Plus now so they wouldn't fit. I'm going to give it a good clean tonight, check all the O rings, reseat the coil and see how it gos. If I still have issues I think I'll invest in a different tank for my day to day needs - there has to be something out there that wont leak fluid like crazy.

Is that offer open to anyone?

My sub tank minis have just started leaking :(

Anybody here have issues with Kanger sub-tanks leaking?
Oh GOD, yes!!!!!
Leaking through the airholes loads. Every time I picked it up, every time I vaped, every time a butterfly in China flapped its wings... more leaks than Thames Water!!!
I also found the coils burned very easily, even with 50VG juices.

Pretty sure it's not an O-ring thing, as they're so tight I couldn't even get the tank glass off.

I gave up and got an Aspire Triton in the end - That has never put so much as a drop wrong. My Kanger SubMini tank is now sat, gathering dust.

I'm glad its not just me, although kind of sad we are all feeling this pain. I think I'll invest in a Uwell Crown and a VTC Mini when I get paid.

Can someone either help persuade my inner self that I can justify a mini volt, or convince me otherwise that I shouldn't?

Completely on the fence with it at the moment, and really want one, but can't bring myself to do it in the hope that a v2 may make it's way to us in the near future with TC capability.

Hmmmmm :(

(Quite proud of myself, this is the first time I've ever questioned shinyitis :p)

Dont do it, its cute, class looking and performs, power wise, well, but battery life is shocking, its too small to hold properly and the screen is tiny and take near 3 hours to charge...
Mine has a wonky 510 too, not that it moves, but any atty i put on it... my ohms change with every fire button press.

I've two codes that could still work for DarkStar, might be useful to someone. :)

Dark-diy - 16% Discount
DS-BOSS - 10% Discount

So about to whack in my first ever order with Fasttech - anything I should know before I do so?

I'm looking at grabbing a VTC Mini to replace my 50w box mod, and a Uwell Crown as I'm giving on the Sub-Tank Plus. Any suggestions / feedback appreciated before I pull the trigger.

Cheers

If your going fo the VTC Mini, get the cheaper 60w... its the same mod, you just need to flash the v3 firmware when you get it, saves you £2 :)

just got my aromiser...disappointed at the moment, im using a dual coil on the posts but dont seem to be producing mush vapour, i prefired to check the coils it is about .3ohms.

I seem to be getting so much more vapour off of my single coil (im using twisted on the single) TFV4.

Am i missing something?

Cheers for the heads up.

Just wondering, if I'm going TC and using stock coils (I am too hamfisted to build my own) - is 75w going to be enough at 0.15 ohms?

What is your build, wire, inner diameter, horizontal or vertical?

I do either dual twisted 26awg TI coils or dual single wire 317l SS coils and both take 70w pre heat and about 50w nominal and chuck fine and rightly, i dont have the vape band airflow controller on, i have them wide open.

That will depend on the coils, what wire they use, but a typical single coil in a tank wont take more than 60w without hitting the TC limit unless you push past the burn temp.
See my post above, thats duals at between .1 and .2ohms and 70w is fine, though on the VTC Mini... carry spare batteries as you will need them lol

They do a Ni200 0.15ohm temp control coil, or I could just lump for the standard 0.25 SS coil which I imagine would do the job.

Yeah, the one battery thing was a concern... now I'm looking at a Wimsec 200w jobbie for around the same price as it carries 3 batteries!

Ah the RX200, i have rhe DNA200 version, its a heavy mod, but battery for days..

The ni200 coils will not take much to hit 200c, maybe 30w at best, the SS on the other hand, they can be used in power mode as well as tc and in power mode they may take a good chunk, depends how good they are, the crown .5 ss coils took 90w in power mode, about 40 or 50w in TC if i recall.

but 75w for TC should be plenty.
