Technically, '510 standard' only refers to the threading, not the connector... as evidenced by some recent Joyetech products that don't play nicely with the 510 connectors of other manufacturers' tanks!

I get your point, but it's still considered the standard
We need to see some sort of standardisation. Particularly around total length and protrusion on the positive pin to avoid people blowing themselves up with hybrid connectors

I do definately agree a standard is a good thing, absolutely nessecary, but the 510 is a bit on the small size for the size of modern tanks.
I do agree the p3 likely wont get adopted, seems like a typical american "propriety" standard, but it'd be good if it did.

Yorkshire vaper now has stock, ordered. Above all things I'm quite looking forward to plonking it on a mech.

How does the flavor compare to the Subtank?
I already have a V1 and Nano Clones... was never happy with the flavour/performance i got from them, tried single coils, twisted coils and Claptons, Kanthal, TI and SS and for wicking both Rayon and Jap cotton...
Ive always cut the cotton short and think thats partly were i went wrong, the wicks were just long enough to sit on the deck over the juice flow holes but this time i left the wick tails longer and fitted the outer chimney then gently tucked the tails back down and this time i made a single parallel coil with 317L SS, 2.5mm ID and its working great, flavour is spot on and im hitting it in Power mode with 30watts.

I just switched over to the 0.2 Cleito coil but find it brings out a sickly, syrupy VG aftertaste, all the way from 30w right up to 70 - That never happened with the 0.4, but apparently every Cleito customer at my local loves the 0.2. They don't even stock the 0.4...
Anyone prefer the 0.4 Cleito coil over the 0.2 one?

its a little bit shorter (moreso if are counting the button) but a bit wider than the ipv d2. Thats 75w, TC single 18650 and has been out for a while. and its built like a tank. Istick stuff normally feels cheap IMO but i have only tried a few
The "button" is the battery cap as the main body is actually shorter than an 18650, not seen them before but it looks like the same/similar board used in the current Joyetech kit and i prefer that over the naff chip that the IPV D2 had so ive ordered one.
For £18 it is cheap, but then it will be a daily beater for use in the car with a goblin Mini making it overall a smaller package height wise as i know its a little wider.

Goblin mini v2 shipped this afternoon, bit of luck I'll see it tomorrow!
It's a awesome vape, got 317L dual claptons in there no problem.
Build quality as I expected is excellent.
Just thrown my Griffin in the bin.

Hows the vape from them, they look to have massive airflow.
The Goblin mini V2 is a very good vape, flavour wise its on power with the Serpent or Zephyrus V2, but wicking is the key on this take, its not very forgiving if you get it slightly off, im running mine at 30w with a Single Parallel coil @ .15ohms and loving it, decent cloud and lots of flavour.
Supreme and RDTA V2s turned up today.
First, the Supreme. What a tank! It's big but well proportioned. Fits nicely on the RX200 or Realeaux but hangs over on my VT133 and VT200. Super easy to build on with the massive deck but fiddle to install the deck back in the tank without getting juice all over yourself due to the design of the base plate. I think the trick here is to not prime the coils and to just install the deck and let it juice itself.
The vape is very, very good. Massive airflow for some big clouds. Flavour is pretty good but not outstanding.
The build I put in to start with is 2 x 8 wraps over 2.5mm contact using 26/32 clapton 316L wire for 0.3 Ohms.
Now on to the RTDA V2..... I AM DISAPPOINT!
OK, so the main complaints about the V1 have been addressed as we can now use a normal drip tip and we don't need to use the stupid vape band. However, the new AFC whistles like crazy. I mean, really whistles and at a very high pitch. Both of the new V2s do it and the upgrade bases do it too. Fiddling with the ring just makes it louder or softer but its still there and it's really annoying.
I doubt I will be using them in this state. I'll keep fiddling but I can see me just going back to my V1s at this rate.

Just placed an order for both of these flavours at 60/40 they sound up my street, usually mix my own at max VG, hoping the slightly higher PG content makes up for the muted flavour of a tank and helps with the throat hit. (I seem to compensate with high power builds rather than increasing nic/pg content)
