I just switched over to the 0.2 Cleito coil but find it brings out a sickly, syrupy VG aftertaste, all the way from 30w right up to 70 - That never happened with the 0.4, but apparently every Cleito customer at my local loves the 0.2. They don't even stock the 0.4...

Anyone prefer the 0.4 Cleito coil over the 0.2 one?

Me! Fair enough I get more cloud with the 0.2 but as soon as I get over 60w most of the flavour just goes out of the window! Gonna get through a few more tanks and then switch back to the 0.4 I think...Ran dry on juice on friday night though and some randomer topped it up with some homemade pineapple stuff, cant get the flavor out no matter what I put it >_<

Changed the build slightly in the Supreme and now the flavour is excellent. This thing is like having a tank stuck on a Velocity dripper. Very, very impressed and I wish I'd just bought 2 of them rather than the upgrades to the V2 RDTAs.

They look great what tank is it their using ?
That is the new Melo III.
Hope it's better than the Melo II, as that just didn't have enough airflow. Good top-fill, but the atties were utter crap... I do still need to retry it with a Triton atty, since they fit perfectly, though.

That's good to know, then - Thanks!
I'll have to beg my shop to get me some 0.4s in, perhaps...

Just re wicked my Goblin Mini V1 and Nano using the same method i used on the V2 Mini and getting a better vape than ive had from them before, it seams i was not wicking them right (which i kinda knew), but now ive all three working great, and all three of them are on straight power mode... such a difference and im finally happy with the flavour from them All at last. The key seams to be having the tails only slightly into the juice wells and the access bunched above, that way the wicks can hold enough juice to keep up with my style of vaping at reasonable power levels while still wicking High VG well.

The Mini V2 has a Single parallel 317L SS 2mm ID coil @ 0.15ohms and 30w.
The Mini V1 has dual 28awg Kanthal 2mm ID coils @ 0.44ohms and 27.5w.
The Nano has a Single 2mm ID coil (cant remember what material used, might be 317L SS or it might be a 316L clapton) @ 0.18ohms and 25w.

Goblin Mini V2 just turned up. Will have a go with it later. So, you reckon that having the wick ends shaped and just a small amount sticking in to the wick holes is best yes?

Yes mate, if you fill the juice holes to the bottom it dry hits and if your tails are too short it dry hits and leaks, but get the tails long enough so some sits in the juice wells and the rest sits on top then it performs better, there's a fine line though.
It does not cope with chain vaping long pulls, like 3 seconds or longer each pull... on the V1 & Nano.
But get it right and it can cope with 2 second pulls chain vaping.
Im still playing with them, but the deck does not have enough room for tails long enough to hold enough juice for real long pulls, so i kinda did the V2 like a pancake wick style as the deck is 1mm bigger, but the bottom of the pancake is sitting in the juice wells and the rest i gently pushed down once the chimney barrel was in place, so far no leaks and its taking 30w and 2-3 second pulls no bother at all, even put it in TC mode and hit it at 40w and got 3-4 pulls before i started to get throttling.

Just put a build in it:

2 x 9 wraps over 2mm 28awg SS304 contact for 0.4 Ohms. Puffed up and trimmed ends with just a tail in the wells as you described. Very nice. Flavour is excellent at 35W.

When you put the base chimney barrel on over the coils and wick, did you gently press down the remaining Wick towards the juice wells?

Mines been filled twice now without even closing the airflow off and not leaked once... Yet...

Fingers crossed thats all it needs, i maybe did not give a good explanation on that part sorry...
i did a pancake wick so the bottom of the tails went slightly into the juice wells and then fluffed the rest upwards so i could get the base chimney section over the coils and wicks, then using a very thin allen key, pressed the fluffy tails down in towards the juice wells/deck so none was above the hight of the coils.

Hope thats clearer, but i think you got it.

Mine arrived today too so thanks for the pointers as well, going to go for 7 wraps of 24awg kanthal over 2.5mm (2mm if it's too tight).

Tsunami RDA clones are available for immediate dispatch on Vape Geek if anyone's interested.

SXK (ShenXingKang) clone so they'll be very good quality.

I read quite an interesting theory on these the other day...

GV started production, realised the 510 divided the juice well, sold off all of their excess 'old style' stock to be marketed as clones while they started up with the re-designed 510/well, as it strikes as odd that clones were on the market long before the 'revised' original :D

Also vapegeek selling a geekvape clone threw me completely at first, I thought "wtf are they doing selling clones of their own gear???" :o

So far so good with the goblin mini v2, put the same build in I've been using in the crius all day - 2 x 7 wrap, 2.5mm 24awg kanthal 0.26ohm, though I was running the crius on a mech (circa 60w) the goblin is blowing it out of the park for flavor at 36w, clouds ain't bad either!

Now just to see if my wicking holds up on a refill :p

Cheers for the heads up, since I have been after a new dripper since the grub screws on my Velocity are basically useless all of a sudden  Went for Stainless.

Kills me paying shipping on all these small orders though :o
