I think it more sounds like you've outgrown your current setup. Mod wise you can't go wrong with the joyetech vtc mini. As for change of tank aspire have just announced the aspire nautilus X, looks a fantastic bit of kit for those who mtl, perhaps worth waiting for?

Hey all, hope everyone is good! I´ve been MIA again recently, so much so I have no idea where the recent tech or trends are.

However I am on the hunt for a new atty. Something attainable and a flavour machine. I have the Uwell, Aramomizer and few others and just can’t get along with them anymore. Always go back to my trusty ubertoot. So something that holds a single coil and is a flavour boss.

Maybe a mod as well… I love using Stainless Steel but the only mod I have which can utilise it is the RX200 which is a bit of a beast to take out.

Did squonking ever take off? Swear joytech brought out some interesting and easily affordable kits?

If you keep going back to the Ubertoot I'm assuming that you are a mouth to lung vaper rather than a direct lung. In which case the Aromamizer and Crown are rubbish. Both great direct lung tanks though.

If you are after a great MTL tank than the new Kayfun Mini V3 is probably your man.
For a good mod for out and about you can't go wrong with an Joyetech VTC Mini. Fantastic mod that can do SS, NI, TI, and everything else.

That's why the ubertoot is still king of the RTAs...
The origennie is worth looking at, but you need to be running dual coils at 0.8.. I tend to use that the most when it comes to cotton tanks now, I have two of them.

Thank you both.

Slinxy what gauge wire do you use? With SS I aim for 0.8 with duals but need some ridiculously thin and flimsy wire it seems? Whilst on the subject of coils anyone used the notch coils?

Looks like the new FDA regulations in the US are going to destroy vaping over there. They're looking at $330,000 to submit and gain approval to sell any items. That's the same fee and process for every flavour, every tank, every nic concentration.

Looks like we got off lightly in the UK with the TPD.

NNA have issued a statement congratulating Big Tobacco who have just been handed the entire US vaping market on a plate.

Really!? Please tell me thats meant to be a decimal point not a comma.....

So much for land of the free, although i cant see that being enforced successfully.

Funny how they'll do that to vaping but wont even introduce gun registration, guess the second amendment does work to some extent if its keeping the government scared enough of the people.

Nope, comma. And that's the MINIMUM projected cost. Some analysts are predicting $1,500,000 per product to actually get through to approval. Remember also that that's just an application. There is no guarantee that the product will be approved.

Is that tax or expenditure required to test a product well enough to be approved?

Noticed my juices are all about the same consistency as cooking oil now it's warm out.
I keep my mixing stuff in the garage and it's been a bugger in the cold to get the VG in a syringe until now.
Might do my next mix at 85VG - 15PG and see if it thickens up a bit.
Made a couple of spaced coils a few days ago for the crius but had to lose a wrap to make it fit. reading 0.2ohms using 25G SS 317 wire - 9 wraps.
Decided to start changing the wick at around 5 days else flavour just drops off.

I bought 250ml of 7.2% nic from Darkstar a couple of months back, will it go bad if left on a shelf in the garage...it's in a cupboard but not really cold or warm, just dark-ish.

I was thinking this earlier, I usually mix at 70/30 but I might go 80/20 now it's warming up.

Ideally you want to keep your Nic in a cool, dark place. I keep mine in the fridge but as long as it's out of direct sunlight you should be alright. It'll start to darken in colour when it's on it's way out anyway.

Just picked up a Wismec Theorem to try. Interesting tank.
It came pre-built and completely choked with enough cotton that I could have rebuilt it twice! After a brief trim and a fill with T-Clara by T-Juice it's vaping nicely at 70W. Tank is stupidly small though for the amount of juice it drinks. Took me 5 minutes to drain it.
I think I'd class it as a dripper with a really big juice well.

It will stay in my rotation for now.

I really like Aspire's stuff, so this could be rather interesting...!

KangerTech recently did one.
Not exactly my thing, TBH - If I'm going to drip, I'll use a dripper. If I want a tank experience, I'll use a normal tank. If I want both, I'll get an RTA. Not really sure what the point of Squonking even is...

If you are after a great MTL tank than the new Kayfun Mini V3 is probably your man.
What would you say is as good as/better than a *non*-sub Cubis, in terms of features and performance, but without having to rebuild?

For a good mod for out and about you can't go wrong with an Joyetech VTC Mini. Fantastic mod that can do SS, NI, TI, and everything else.
For out and about, I'd have suggested an eLeaf Pico, myself - Same features, but smaller.

I only tend to use kanthal, 26 gauge 3mm ID...
I have tired SS once, not really my thing... :)

I'm on holiday, and the single crown coil I have is eol, but I also have my cleito with me and spare coils for that.
Fresh coil, plenty of sitting time, no where near as much flavour as the crown. Even tried 75w (coils state 40-60) and not much flavour.
Would this be down to my vtc mini just not working as well with cleitos?

I have the exact same setup; crown and clieto and the crown beats it hands down every time.

Not saying the clieto is bad, I still use it a lot, but I love the crown.

I'm not a fan of the clieto, but the coil takes ages to break in before they will start to work correctly.. Before that it will be splitting.. Had to wash mine out with water to soften up the coil, before the cotton would wick right.
