I turn 29 on Tuesday, decided .....for about the 3rd or 4th time........that now is the time to quit cigarettes altogether., but this time actually with help. I'd cut down and cut down but NO MORE!

Went out and got myself two different vapes, tried the cigarette look a likes first and they just seemed crap. I've got myself two Kangertech ones, one's a sub ohm one....which i bought without really researching the fact that i shouldn't have started with a subohm one :p but it's a kit, and I'm not going to go changing anything until i know more about it all.... also got a little one (EVOD)

Just spent the last 15 minutes working out what "priming the atomizer" meant, think i've done it right....the instructions that come with this thing look like they've been translated from Chinese though :D

Day 1 of no cigarettes begins today! :)

Good luck with quitting the analogs. My last cigarette was Monday this week after over 30 years of smoking, mornings are still hard but once I am past the initial craving for a fag the rest of the day is ok and I really don't miss them. I have a Nautilus tank for day to day use when driving or working (18 mg nicotine juice) but tend to go sub ohm when at home relaxing, currently with an iSub G at 0.5 Ohm (6 mg nicotine juice).

I have a Kanger Subtank coming tomorrow with some Ni200 0.15 ohm OCCs to try a bit of TC vaping. Also have some Ti and SS wire coming later next week to try coil building.

Thanks chaps :)

What's the best way to look after your vapes? Having more than one should i not leave juice in them for too long? (seeing as one will be sat around for days unused while i use the other one, albeit i plan to jump between them now and again) Do they need cleaning after prolonged use? I've also read that the coils can become worn over time, how often do you need to replace them generally?

I had no idea till last week that vaping had become so huge....i can't believe how many variations there were! Also...these kanger EVOD and Kanger subvod mega that i've got, can you get different mouth pieces for them?

If you have a subtank they make 1.2 ohm coils for them, if the 0.5 ohm ones are too hot to handle at first.

You can get different mouthpeices, metal and plastic are popular, plastic doesnt heat up so much-the subtanks can get kinda hot (at least my subtank plus does) but theres loads of shapes.

In terms of cleaning, if you have two its handy as to keep you tasting the flavour you want to change often, but using the same flavour on a coil does help it last a bit longer. Some juices will gunk up a lot quicker than others.

An ultrasonic cleaner is a godsend, but a good rinse out with running water will do at a pinch, youll want to give a good rinse when changing flavours but topping up you can get away if its not too dirty.

You can taste them going bad (burnt taste and less vapour than normal), and you can see it going black and gunked up- time to chuck it. I carry two these days, and switch between them.

You dont have to, but i personally preferr to store e cigs vertical, either breast pocket in a jacket or on a table, ive had some would leak if stored at weird angles. If your gonna be storing them easier to store with no juice.

What ever you get you're looking ~£30...this is £20 off atm (its quite often this price tbh!!)

Yep, i have the "black" variant of that, great bit of kit, fill it with water and some milton (i use 1\4 tablets).

Gets all the juice etc off, and as long as a coil isnt caked in carbon it generally comes out clean. Just blast for 8 mins (16 for a real proper clean) and rinse off.

Just dont leave anything in there for ages unless pink o rings are your thing

Well I'm officially 1 week off the stinkies (again). I'm so grateful for learning about Rejuiced, so cheap yet high quality and such an amazing range. I think this will help keep me off analogues as before I just couldnt find juices I liked in my local other than Ace of Vapez Wolf Astaire which I now dislike as vaped too much.

Question, I'm now on to my second Kanger, currently a white topbox mini. Although I like the topfill tank, I prefer my first Kanger subox kit as the wattage increments went up in bigger chunks. This one goes up in decimals! I wouldnt care, I dont even use it for temperature control and just use wattage mode with 0.5 ssocc coils.

If I sold this with the intention of an upgrade, what would be an alternative to Kanger? They are all I have ever known. I like that they are simple, I don't like that it seems to leak a lot. Am I missing out on anything better?

Styled = clone/fake/counterfeit, authentic = the real thing.

Read reviews of said product on FT before going for a clone, ove had both excellent and **** poor clones so it can be a gamble :)

Really confused.

Was going to treat myself to a Kanger Topbox Mini in platinum, I currently have the white version but like to waste money on new shiny things.

So, Topbox Mini Platinum Kit

So obviously the second doesnt include the tank - but it does have better looking buttons? Is there any real difference here between the two? Aesthetically I like the second but would need to buy the matching Topbox tank.

The Kbox is the name for the device itself, no differences at all between the two (bar the buttons).

If you want the full kit I'd get that mate.

Picked up the avocado 24 this morning...Basically its a dripper with a really big well! Flavor and clouds are what you would expect from an RDA, wicking is a bit of a pain, for the deck size try stick to ~2.5mm ID coils as a max, any bigger and you'll have to strip away a mountain of cotton just to get it to wick correctly.

The one down side, its a big one for me and will probably stop me using this as much as I do other RTA's...when wicking you have to take the deck section off to pull the cotton through, dress it etc...to remove the deck you have to remove the entire 510 pin assembly, locking screw, carrier etc...tiny peek seals in there, all sorts. Even once you get through the minefield of getting the thing apart you're left with a deck you can't mount on anything to get working with the wick which became fiddly in its self.

All in all, a bloody good vape, but a lot of effort to get there, I would wager the limitless is marginally better as it won't have this issue due to how its assembled.

went to vape collective on Saturday... very much enjoyable except for the fact that I had to run for the train twice.

It was good to finally meet a few people that you only speak to online, didn't buy much as there wasn't much hardware about that I was interested in. They didn't have the petri v2 in stainless steel. Loads of juice vendors, but I only brought from vendors that I would buy normally, just picked up 60ml of bulkr and 100 ml of mrs lords for the sake of spending cash.

Just used the serpent mini all day, it's a good little tank coiled with a tiny clapton at 1 ohm... been using it all week now, well worth the £25 pounds it cost. :)

The Kanger Subtank Plus arrived this afternoon and so far I'm really liking it and my first try at TC vaping. Seem to have bigger clouds and more intense flavour than my iSub G. Still pretty much a noob to vaping but the more I learn the more the obsession grows.
