Joyetech/wismec pretty much have all options nailed down atm, single cell = VTC Mini, Dual = Cuboid, Tri-cell = RX200/200S, all have fantastic TC support if that's an avenue you wish to take.

My fave dual cell mod atm is still the tesla invader 3, though its not something I'd recommend to a beginner :)
 
For single 18650 either the VCT Mini or the istick Pico, both 75w TC mods, both small and both work well.

Dual 18650, Cuboid is hard to beat for size and performance, though dont for a second think it can really do 200W!
 
My absolute favourite is the Wismec DNA200... it's a three battery mod but it's more comfortable to hold in your hand than a lot of two battery mods. Same shape as the RX200 and RX200S... but if you can afford the extra, the DNA200 chip is worth the extra.

SMOK X Cube II is a really good 2-bat mod... perhaps a touch uncomfortable to hold for lengthy periods depending on the size of your hand - my wife struggles with that one a little bit.

Vaporesso Tarot feels really nice in your hand, but I think it's a bit crummy on the functionality side of things... it works, it just feels clumsy.

Joyetech Cuboid... I don't like it - not saying it's a bad mod... I just don't like it. Not sure why on this one.

Sigelei 90W Plus is a good 26650 single battery mod... much nicer than the Presa.

X Cube Mini is more comfortable to hold than the X Cube II... takes a single 18650.

I kinda like the iStick Pico... but compared to the Joyetech eVic VTC Mini... the Joyetech wins... the buttons on the Pico are quite cumbersome compared to the evic mini.

Just opened a Sigelei 213 and it went straight back in the box... don't like the feel of that thing at all... and for its relatively premium price, it shouldn't feel quite so tacky, IMO.


Loads of others too... but my go to mods are Wismec DNA200, SMOK X Cube II, Joyetech eVic VTC Mini, Vaporesso Target & Sigelei 90W Plus

Heavy for a 2 year old... maybe :)

I don't think you'd have any issues with a 3+ battery mod when it comes to weight unless you're looking to carry it around in your trouser pocket of handbag ;) all day - then you would want something smaller/lighter.

I don't like the iStick 100W... the 200W is quite a bit nicer though.

I have the iStick TC100w with the v1.1 firmware upgrade to 120w. Been playing with TC mode today and to a noob like me it seems to function well. The only slight issue I have found is that changing Watts in TC mode is a bit shaky as it increases/decreases pretty quickly as you hold the menu button and up/down buttons. However you can pulse the up/down buttons to slowly increment the setting. Other than that I think it is great. Obviously being a noob I have little to compare it to.

A Joyetech VTC mini kit or the Cuboid mini kit with the Cubis tank is a good starting point. The devices can deal with anything you throw at them and the tank is OK for a starter kit.
Personally, I think I'd buy the VTC mini or Cuboid mini on its own and then get an Aspire Nautilus X (just tried one of these yesterday and it's a fantastic starter or mouth-to-lung tank).

That lot will set you back about £60 with official UK pricing but if you can wait a couple of weeks can be had for about half that if you order from Fasttech in China.

For liquid, have a look at Dragon Rise Vapers. Loads of flavours and they are really cheap but excellent quality.

I can only comment on the Kanger Topbox Mini kit, but can vouch for its build quality and flavour. I use mine with 0.5ohm SSOCC coils in wattage mode, anywhere from 15-40 watts depending on the juice. Currently I'm trialling an array of Rejuiced liquids and they are all fab. Currently sat vaping 'The Kings Peach' and my mouth is watering from the flavour, so juicy. Peach and pineapple.

The only thing I will add, is that when I first upgraded from a Subox kit to a Topbox kit, the first juice I tried was Vampie Vape Heisenberg. The thing was badly popping and spitting all over, so much so that I ended up smoking stinkies again as I was in Germany at the time. I've not had that problem at all with Rejuiced liquids and am absolutely convinced it was the Vampie Vapes liquid.

I love my Topbox so much, I'm thinking about selling my stormtrooper white and going for a platinum version, just purely as I like the colour. Kep debating if I should try something else like a Cuboid, but just cant fault the two Kangers I've had - barring tank leakage on the Subox, which I very rarely get with the Topbox.
 
Yeah, I've got the Topbox at the moment, took a bit of a risk downgrading from a Vapour Shark rDNA40 and Rose V2S. Pleasantly surprised though.
 
The Toptank is a better tank than the Cubis but the Topbox mod I don't think is as good as the Cuboid Mini / VTC Mini.

Kanger really need to sort out their naming convention. It's a mess.
 
Anyone got any advice on nicotine strength? As a 20 a day smoker I was on 6mg for a while, my latest batch was 3mg. Through this weekend Ive vaped a lot, to the point where I'm feeling a bit overdosed. I was wondering whether to go to 1.5mg on my next batch.

I think the challenge is, I can vape as much as I want on a weekend/weekday evening but during week day working hours I have to settle for a quick blast every hour or two. Probably answered my own question here but suppose I might need to consider having a mix of 'work' and 'home' juices.

What does everyone else do? Ideally I'd like to come down to 0mg but its too soon yet I think.

Just ordered my second batch from Rejuiced after going mad this weekend trying lots of them. This second batch is ones I liked from the first batch, plus some new ones to try. Can't speak highly enough on the quality of these liquids.

I'm on 1/1.5mg day to day now, although if I have a few to drink I keep a bottle of 4-5mg juice sometimes, so I top up if I need a fix haha.

I buy a lot from cloudy dreams as well.

Although I tend to do 500ml at a time.

How do you know you like the juice? 1ltr is a lot to throw away if you don't like it!

I made a batch of fresh squeeze up based on their recipe at cloudy dreams. I hope you have better experience than me I only made 50ml and gave it away and the person I gave it to didn't like it either. And I love orange flavours.
