Anyone recommend a good place for concentrated flavours? Only need 2 or so, so I would like somewhere with free/cheap delivery or it sort of kills the deal.

Vapeesscape was down the road last time I needed some :-(

Chefsflavours:

https://www.chefsflavours.co.uk

20% off code when you first register with them (new site which used to be chefsvapours but now the flavour section has its own site)

Postage is more than reasonable too. £1 for up to four 10ml bottles, £2 for between 5 and 16 bottles. 30ml+ bottles will cost a bit more though (£3.30) due to needing bigger package than large letter. Very reasonable prices, massive range of flavours and i've had nothing but great service from them.

Picked up a Wotofo Serpent Mini today. Stuck a build in there (0.5 Ohms) and am vaping away happily at 30W with excellent flavour. Very nice tank this. Super easy to build on, good enough airflow, and nice and small. Looks great on the iStick Pico.
Really enjoying going back to basics with vaping.

Was it my pic that did it? ;) lol

TBH I don't see it as back to basic vaping, I know the norm is still egos and ce4.. a lot of people now use subtanks and make crazy coils but there's still a very large percentage of vapes that use above 1 ohm coils and mtl.

I build mine to about 0.8ohm so I can throw it one a mech and get a good hit and battery life. I don't need 100mls of juice for the week nor 10s of batteries for the day. a single 18650 will last me a day and a half and I fill my tank up 2/3 times a day if I use the same tank all day. Works for me. :)

Just cancelled my pre-order for Uwell Crown II, until it's finally out and I hear more reviews from actual users.

In the meantime, I'm expecting my Sigelei 213 arriving tomorrow and will be plonking a Kanger Toptank on top. It should equate to excellent battery life and reasonable juice usage.

I did look at the Aspire Cleito tank, with the idea of comparing it head to head with the Crown II. However I've read that the Cleito runs very hot plus I don't like the tank design.

Evic VTC Mini, istick Pico to name a few, don't be put off by the fact they're 75w mods, if you're only using 30w it just means you'll get plenty more life from a single charge :)

Is there anything like the VTC mini that has a SS316 mode?

edit - just seen the pico, might try that, not keen on the buttons being on the bottom though...

...I cancelled this morning and now strangely have an email telling me its been shipped, looks like they (UK Ecig Store) have now received stock from Uwell which was supposed to be delayed. Oh well, I'll give it a shot and let everyone know what I think.

I run the Topbox at 25-35 watts, I hear the Crown needs anything from 40-60 watts. Big difference in power and juice consumption!

I hate shopping for vape stuff! After years of clones and cheap box mods I cracked and finally splashed out on my first bit of decent vape gear, Im now the proud owner of a YiHi SX Mini ML Class Box Mod :D:D

Arrives by 1pm tomorrow...

What nic level? Those 0.5 Ohm coils in the Subtank will be horrible at less than 30W. They are designed for 3mg or 6mg direct lung vaping. Did you get a 1.2 Ohm with it? Those are better at around 20W but still aren't going to be as good as a Nautilus for mouth to lung.

If you want a good mouth to lung tank, get yourself a Kabuki clone or a Beyond Vape Silo. They take the Nautilus coils but have so much more flavour. For something a bit newer then look to the Nautilus X.

You using the same subtank i am? Anything over 30w and i'd expect carbonised wicks in seconds!

Enjoy it. It wouldn't have been my first choice for the money but it's a quality device and will last well (if my M-Class is anything to go by).

I was talking about the 0.5 Ohm vertical coils. They are good up to about 50W.
The old original horizontals are only good to 30W as you say. I was assuming that as he had just bought it it would come with the newer vertical coils.

So am i, currently using the 0.5 ohm ssocc verticals at 25w, but the claptons and standard vocc's at 0.5 i've never taken above 30w without burning.

I have had luck using claptons in the rba getting to 40w stable, but thats a coil that barely even fits the deck.

Been a 20 to 30 a day smoker for 30 years. I bought a Smok TFV4 Mini starter kit four weeks ago, got on great, have'nt smoked an analog for 3 weeks.

Been making my own juice 3mg nicotine and bought an RBA for the Smok, well tasty with clapton coils.

Couldn't be happier, i feel like a new man :)

iirc I used 4 (maybe 5?) wrap 26/32 2.5mm claptons in the subtank RBA+, was a tight fit and had to pull the coil down to avoid a short on the top cap but vaped great at ~40w, that build did me 2 weeks in Texas last year

Enjoy being smoke free and enjoy being able to taste and smell things as they were intended :)

Same, but 5 wrap 3.5mm id

Tiiight fit and vaped hot but tasty, not so good for fruity flavours and killed the deck after wrestling new coils in 10 times.

Just sticking with prebuilts now trying to cut back, gonna try and move back to the nautilis on 3mg and have flavour over big clouds, then 1mg then freedom

Lets not forget the Evic VTwo Mini, a VTC Mini with a clock :p

@Edgedemon, the vtc mini has native Ni200, Ti01, SS316 as well as 3 TCR options to tune other TC wires (SS304, 317 etc...) to the mod :)

It doesn't list it in the specs though

edit - just seen why - it doesn't have a SS316 mode until you have updated to FW 3.03 - might get one as a backup to my Yihi SX mini ML - it will be a good test to see if the extortionate price I paid for the Yihi actually brings anything to the table above the evic

I think you will wish you hadn't bought the SX. IMO, the VTC is easier to use, gives a vape that is just as good, is smaller, lighter, and cheaper.
I do like my SX but I wouldn't buy one today at the price they ask. That money would buy a nice DNA200 based mod that is better in every way.

you might be right, but it has to be better than anything else I have ever tried so I'm still looking forward to it.
I go through stages where I don't buy anything for a year, just re-use what I have and then I splurge as a treat on all the latest fads!

I looked at the DNA200 last night but I didn't like the styling of the mods I saw, plus Id wanted an SX ever since the original M class came out. I had an Evic mini and was impressed, but the mini usb port wore out after 3 months so I could no longer charge it without taking the batteries out, so I wanted something a bit different and higher quality. I also wanted to try the SX pure atomiser as that looked intriguing as well :D

It is what it is, I'm either going to like it or hate it, but it will be nice to own a premium bit of kit for once rather than the endless knockoffs and clones and I do really like the styling on it :-)

I have some SS316 notch coils on the way as well, so brace yourself for some TC based questions

Finally got my Tesla Nano 60w TC , only took 7 weeks from fastech.
Nice any tiny and after watching countless vids on youtube managed to get a build that doesnt leak on my Goblin mini v2.

Although did try my uwell crown on the Tesla in TC mode and unlike my Smok Xcube where you would just change the temp , you set the temp then have to set your wattage as well..
No where near as good as the Smok but i bought it for use with the goblin so not a problem.
