17track has been out of sorts for a few week, it says mine is in Beijing, but got to Heathrow the early hours of this morning according to RM.
 
Completely forgot about the RM tracking, will have a look later and see if the packages have really arrived at Heathrow.

So 2 packages have arrived in U.K., the 2 first ordered. The last 2 still in china.

So fingers crossed I get the 2 packages next week as those are the ones I want the most lol.

Weird tracking to be honest.
 
My FT order which shipped using E Packet on the 3rd of Feb arrived in the UK and on route to my local distribution centre today 10th Feb. Not too shabby especially considering how busy this service must have been with all the backlog due to Chinese New Year.

VG/PG ratio in simple terms is how much PG/VG is in the end product.

PG = carries the flavour and throat hit.
VG = gives better vapour production and smooths the throat hit, but also can mute flavour.

The tank you've chosen to go with looks like it should wick fine, so I'd probably recommend a 60VG juice to start off with. Anything higher (VG wise) looks like it may struggle.

Thanks for the advice. I got the Vaper that I mentioned above, 5 coils and 60ml of juice (30ml of two different flavours) for £57.96 including P&P. I got the strong nicotine stuff to help me give up faster. Looking forward to this. I've been wanting to give up for ages.

Thanks for the help guys :). Seeing as it is £5.99 for 30ml it works out way cheaper than smoking as well assuming that will last me at least 24 hours which I think it will.
 
Does any one have any experience with a shipping company called whistl? they contracted the delivery of a item to hermes. On the site it has at 14:07 that the item is "relocated by courier" and no other info at all. can't track through hermes either which is frustrating. No slip through the door or indication of anything at all. Order is from ecigwarehouse.

30q, HG2 or vtc6! All pretty much the same, buy from ecolux or fogstar, 30q will likely be the cheapest option

On squonk-watch, ecigone have the geekvape GBox S100 listed at £55, dual 18650 100w TC squonk mod. Awaiting details of ETA.

The lost vape drone DNA 166 is expected to get pricing and availability at vapegeek next week too.
 
Questions on RTAs

OK so I've always used subohm tanks and respective manufacturer premade coils. Im now curious about the benefits of RTAs. Ive checked first page just in case and obviously searching this thread is impossible, so here goes...

I currently own a Cleito120 with fat boy tank, they have released an RTA deck, it seems to have been reviewed well.

Am I right in saying the main benefits are more flavour and thicker clouds? Is it really worth the extra hard work compared to a premade coil system? (bearing in mind the Cleito120 is great tasting setup)

If I did make the move, I seen on the reviews that they are all using various tools and Coilmaster devices. I checked prices and its like £40+ for toolsets.

I did notice you can buy premade claptons, does that mean I dont need a Coilmaster to check heating elements?

Any other tips on where to buy coils and cotton would be good. Still not sure if its more hard work and expense than I want. Im already investing a lot in to DIY juices at the moment, far more than I ever spent on stinkies in fact.

Any honest opinions would be good please.
 
Wether or not you get better reek tbh is down to how well you build and what your using, theres a ceiling as to what tanks can do anyway.

You dont need the coil master kits etc to actually make coils, but having one makes it so much easier it might as well be a necessity. A battery drill and a small bench vice really helps, although premade clapton wire means thats not strictly necessary

My advice would be to go for either an rda or try out with the rta deck for the cleito. Rta's are tricky because you need to get the wicking right on both ends of the wick wheras an rda you just stuff it in the well and off you go. Going with just the deck means its minimal expenditure in case you decide its not for you.

The main benefit is cheaper coils and more variety, plus you have control over how good/bad a given setup is. Premades tend to be very hit and miss especially in the wicking department, and ofc the first time it gunks up bam thats it new coil time, wheras building your own you can just pull the wick out, dry burn the crap off and there you go.

Personally i'm not a fan, if you want big clouds and flavour the rda wins and premade tanks win on convenience, although i'm sure others will have their own interpretation.

Guys, what tank would you recommend for 40w TC mod? I've been using my uwell crown with the rta and it's been nice but after more than an year I fancy a bit of change. Been out of the loop for new tanks and I'm a bit lost as to what's what. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
 
The bf-89 is a little monster, 18mm single coil rda decent amount of build room, got a 5 wrap 3mm tricore Clapton (3x26*40) in there at 0.3, really restricted lung hit, lots of flavour, squonking away with it on the coppervape bf, which at the moment looks a real high quality mod.

Got a my delivery this morning from the postie this morning, my smoktech g priv mod arrived along with my serpent mini. Also got my box of pre made alien coils and staggered clapton coils too.

Pretty impressed at how quickly they arrived. Just have 2 more packages to come.

So far liking the g priv mod, nice big touchscreen. Haven't had a chance to wick my serpent mini, probably try that later today....shove an alien coil in it then give it a go.
