Ah, those. I bought some of those once, when they were on offer.

TW also threw in a pen with my purchase. It worked shonkily for 5 minutes then never worked again. It mirrored my experience of those TW cartos perfectly.

Smok Tech megas, on the other hand, have been consistently good in my experience. Like all mega cartos, you really do have to let them stand for a while before first use.

EDIT: Heh! Maybe they are just rebranded STs, Devrij! Though I have to say my experience with both brands have been poles apart - so if they are, then clearly I've been lucky with my Liberty-Flights-bought STs and unlucky with my TWs.

One other thing to bear in mind with the megas - they're built for capacity, not performance; they do compromise the flavour and vapour a little in order to give you that extended vaping. The XL 510 Cartos are, in my opinion, the best balance, but it's a pain having to refill them mid-pub session, and they simply don't look as good on the Ego battery as the megas do.

Really interested in the vision EGO, what else would i need to keep me going for say a month.

Do i need new batteries or have they improved a lot and the started kit would do me.

I've vaped before with a tornado but lost interest due to not having enough supplies.

Are these any better than a tornado, as i did lay off the cigs when i had that thing!

Think im going to order one anyways lol

If it was a Tornado Tank then these use the same form factor batteries. Do you still have them? Can never have too many batteries! Have at least one fully charged and another charging, then one on the go (IMO) just in case... For a months worth of vaping you'd need a few more atomiser heads to be safe, these are £2.50 each. Then it's just juice. I'd work in weeks rather than months tbh, your tastes and needs change

I'd rate the Vision V3 as better than a TT, but I haven't used the TTs for a while, they may have improved. Such is the way with vaping.

I believe the starter kits come with a middle of the road 18mg liquid. It is quite a different experience than smoking and does take some adjusting in your habits, there is no "end" like you get with a ciggy, so new vapers tend to just puff away (I do too over a year in lol). With the V3 heads you should get a week at least I reckon before you need to do anything. Usually the liquid will in the tank will show some signs of darkening/thickening and the flavour and vapour produced will wane. On the first go a wash out with warm water is usually enough to bring them back to full strength. You MUST dry it completely before using again, water is not great in an atomiser. Be sure to have a spare atomiser head handy though, you can never have too many spares! At £2.50 a pop I never bother to wash them twice, after the first clean you might notice it isn't as good as new - that continues til you replace the atomiser head.

My top 3 flavours would be Coffee (Decadent Vapours), coconut (DV) and then perhaps Rouge Bull (Ecigwizard). You may find some flavours are too much for all day use but are nice for evening or after dinner, this is where having two atomisers on the go helps :)

Will deffo cut the nicotine to 12 or something (closest to that dosage) then maybe even try 6 in a few weeks! High for me based on smoking BH Silvers.

The seal on the mouth piece is just a silicon ring, I just leave it on the mouth piece part

Thanks for this, been a great help! currently finding myself picking it up constantly but I keep putting it out of the way Ill soon get in to it properly after a few days getting used to it ciggy free since 5 so far :P and I didn't open my kit until 5:30! Will deffo try some new flavours though best place to order?

May try ECigWizzard, as you stack up points for discount and as I got my starter got a fair few to use!

Will deffo cut from 18MG of Nicotine to maybe 10/12 and even try 6 as smoking BH Silvers is light compared!

I'm still trying to get my head round all this. So can anyone help, what site is best for everything?
i.e easy refillable e-ciggs that look like ciggs and great juice?

Getting my head around overclocking was easier then this :)

I really like ecigwizard until recently. Every time I go to order almost everything I want is out of stock, meaning either splitting the order or ordering from elsewhere, neither are a good compromise because of postage. I prefer to get a few bits in one go rather than drabs. To add to that it looks like they have stopped doing 30/50ml bottles in favour of 20ml, which works out less for your money.

Flavours are a tough one, everyone has different tastes. TBH chasing the "real cig" flavour is a bit pointless, nothing tastes (as bad) like a cigarette, embrace doing something new! I like mint/menthol flavours though. I usually have something not so sweet for day time (coffee, menthol) and something deliciously sweet for evening (coconut). Others here will have better advice re flavours, I am still on the search over a year in. Decadent Vapours tend to be good, ecigwizard's standard mixes are ok

Whatever you do have some spares of everything. In the year or so I've been vaping I've killed 2 or 3 USB chargers, a battery, had a full juice bottle leak dry in my pocket and had numerous atomisers/cartomisers die unexpectedly. Nothing worse than being caught short on a Saturday/Sunday with no hope of replacements til Tuesday :D

You're now free of the evil weed, all hail your new vaporous master ;)

i must stress its essential to have at least 2 to 3 sets of batteries and cartomisers etc, tonight the battery died on both of mine at the same time so i cant vape lol. the reason i got 2 is so this didnt happen but just bad timings. ill probably get a 3rd device now.

whats the device that scott bonner uses on his reviews? it looks cool i want one, whats the best device out there at min cos the ego-t etc stuff is prob not gonna cut it for me

He uses lots of different things. A lot of them aren't going to be cheap or easy to get. I know he uses a Diablo Hybird a lot which is like 150 quid (without batteries or charger) and you need to make the coil yourself. You also have to go on a list and wait your turn for yours to be made. It is a mechanical mod so it doesn't have any protection built in only what your battery has.

I'd say that is too much in the deep end for a new vaper (and many old ones) I'd go (and did) for a Vamo as a nice mod which is cheap and good. It offers everything you really need and is fairly well built.

I get most of my miscellaneous gear from e-cig wizard, vapourhut or totally wicked e-liquid (if they have a yoyo sale on something good or to buy flavour concentrates). Why is it important to have something that looks like a cigarette? I find the cig-alikes tend to have poor battery life/performance, but if you're set on one then the Tecc kits are decent from what I've heard. As for juice, it's mostly preference, but the house of liquid el cigarillos is the most realistic tobacco juice I've ever tried.

Can you get the vv vamo kit anywhere? The unit batteries and charger are working out pretty costly! :(

I've never seen a kit with it, but if you pick up the body here
http://www.vapingthings.com/VAMO_VV_VW_BODY/p1311952_8181025.aspx

2 x batteries here
http://www.ecigwizard.com/mods/vari.../aw-18650-1600mah-imr-high-drain-genuine.html

and charger here
http://www.ecigwizard.com/accessories/bc/chargers/trustfire-multifunction-charger.html

it comes to about £67-£70

When drawing I get the odd slurp very slightly once ive not used it for a while, How do I stop this I presume theres a light leakage?

Some atties do this (my cartos do if overfilled). Just unscrew the attie and wipe it (and the battery threads) off with a bit of tissue or cloth. Should sort it out for you.

12Mg – 0% Nictotine works fine with me. Anything higher and I can’t handle the strength.

I’m using some generic 0% ones now and I don’t have the cigarette pangs.

I’ve gone all crazy and will be mixing my own. Unfortunately Capella Vanilla Custard (VC) was out of stock as that is what I wanted to buy, so I ended up getting these instead whilst it and Watermelon comes back in stock.

Popcorn
Blueberry
Chocolate Brownie Fudge
Lemon Meringue Pie

I got my flavorings from leisureliquids.com and the VG is the Boots stuff I mentioned yesterday. The VG is 100% pure so the guys and girls from Vape.org told me how to mix it which entails mixing 10% “proper” distilled water and then adding the flavoring.

Yeah sorted Devrjj, Thanks! Not gonna fill it to the max in future... Anyone experience abit of slight lightheaded ness when first vaping? It soon wears off once having stopped do you think thats the nicotine? 18mg atm, too high for me ordered some Watermelon and Blueberry in 6MG.. Hope they arrive Thursday/Friday as Im sure that will suit me more.. Or does it generally take some getting used to?

Yeah I get that if I mix a batch a bit too strong. You can either a) continue to vape that strength and you'll adjust to it in a few days, or b) go for a lower strength. the 6mg should be fine, or perhaps something inbetween like 11mg :)

Yeah I smoked lighter cigs and 18mg is too much for me, Will try out 6mg If thats too light ill try find 8/10/12! Dunno what some companies do inbetween.

Liking it though smoke free since yesterday, since I started vaping.. few reasons I have to quit so hopefully I can do it.. Out later will be the big test.

You could get the lavatube and everything else inside that budget. Although, you could almost get a Vamo if you stretched a bit further [/devilonshoulder]

The lavatube is a good piece of kit and a nice step up from the fixed voltage batts (I loved mine). The only thing they really lack compared to pricier alternatives is build quality.

ecigwizard seem a bit pricey for a lavatube http://www.ecigwizard.com/mods/variable-voltage/lavatube/

if you can't find one cheaper (beware of cheap knockoffs) then I would suggest picking up a couple 18650 IMR high drain batts (£12 on ecigwizard) and a Vamo from the horrible red and black site I got mine from for £32 (the stainless one is dearer, but for your budget the others are fine), then pick up a charger for another £5 and you're done.

That's a bit more helpful (ecigwizard) and I'll have to look at the vamo too as I don't like poor build quality and it's not really worth getting cheap crap if you're going to be using it every day.
Thanks for the help! :)

No worries, I posted some links for Mike a few posts above this with links to batteries/chargers/etc. I have to say the Vamo is a really nice piece of kit. Has a real weight to it that feels nice in the hand. I will have to pick up a small battery to run it in mini mode though, because it's a bit big for nights out

Let us know how you get on :) Maybe take the 18mg with you if you need a real whack when you're out.

Sorry to ask more things..BUT

I have found the EGO-T CE5 STAINLESS STEEL STARTER KIT 900MAH
http://www.vapeland.co.uk/ego-t-ce5-stainless-steel-starter-kit-900mah-218-p.asp

Now that looks like a nice starter kit but has anyone used vapland? it's run from a house.
Can't find the same kit for the price anywhere else.
Also guys\gals I really need to get everything from one place.

That's a good price for the bigger batteries (they look like the standard 650mah batts in the picture though?). I haven't used them myself, so I can't comment on the site.
