Tbh mate, the ego battery kits are so cheap to buy now it would be better value to pick one up new instead of using my old batteries (they don't hold a charge as well as when they were new). I'd give you mine for postage if I hadn't been made redundant on Friday :( Otherwise drop me a message by using the trust button under my post.
 
I ended up ordering a microlite kit in the end. I did order another kit but the batteries were DOA and sent it back and changed my mind.

Anyway, i'm dead chuffed with the microlites. MUCH better draw than what i got from the E Lites and are much lighter and smaller. On the downside though the batteries dont last long (maybe 5-6 fags) but the charge case i got solves that.

Just looking for some opinions on juice. I know its highly subjective but i ordered some TECC titan cherry and tobacco fluid with my microlites and whilst the cherry was nice the tobacco is absolutely vile. It tastes like creamy dry wood lol :D Wheres the best place for decent quality fluids and any suggestions? I'd like to try and find some sample packs but they're hard to find.

Juice is always a gamble, hahaha. VapeEscape sell various flavours in 5ml sampler bottles so you can give them a go, and most are pretty decent. Liberty Flights might still do 5ml bottles too, but haven't shopped there in a while.
 
I'm currently vaping honeydew melon from Totally wicked. I think their red label stuff uses the same concentrate and it is delicious.

Happy with my standard eGo, Currently waiting on some Cartomisers which all being well should be waiting for me after work tomorrow.

Hopefully 1.6Ohm with 6MG eLiquid will give me a half decent throat hit if not I will maybe try find slightly stronger eLiquid, 8/10MG maybe.

Was just thinking not at the moment but if I was to upgrade, what would be a mid range VV battery too upgrade too, so I could maybe use a slightly higher resistance Cartomizer 2.0 / 2.4 but with a slightly higher voltage which im guessing is the whole idea of VV batteries?

Trial and error at this stage but could someone spec me a VV voltage which I may turn too and also a decent type of cartomizer to go along side it, are there any personal favourites of Cartomizers you vaping pro's swear by?

Can't wait until I find my feet and the sweet spot and know which Cartomizers I am happy with and what not to then have a little stock up.

Depending on how things go tomorrow, I may end up moving back down south (albeit to Cardiff) and keep my job, so fingers crossed. Not looking forwards to the possibility of having to move everything though :eek:

If you want to try out VV on the cheap, pick up an ego twist. Very basic, but it'll give you a rough idea of what can be done. Big mods have the benefit of better batteries and circuitry to drive the current, but they're the same thing of course. If you try to pump high volts through a low res atty (eg a dual coil carto @1.5ohm per coil) then they just can't keep up. For single coil high res atties the basic ones do great though!

Yeah was looking at those they look great, Do Duel Coil 1.5ohm not last very long even on a basic battery? Whats the advantage/disadvantage of duel coils.

Cartomizers confuse me slightly, not sure which is best suited for me what is your entire setup Devrij?

I recently bought this to start and I have been smoke free, fantastic piece of kit for the price.

Comes with 18MG Nicotine which is too strong for me so I ordered some 6MG which is to weak with standard resistance cartomizers so again I ordered some lower res carts but it's personal preference.

Id definitely give this product a try for £19 it's worth a go.

As above, there are plenty of kits in the £30 range that would be perfect to get you started.

You're welcome to my batts (5 ego batts) and charger for £20 plus postage, but as I said there are kits with fresh batts and atomisers for very little extra.

If you go for the suggested kit above, I would recommend a second battery so you can charge one while you use the other. The vh star kit on vapourhut is basically that kit with a second battery and a case for £30

On Boge Cartomizers, Do you guy's use a mouthpiece on these if so which ones would be recommended.

Lets hope the postman hasn't bottled it again due to the weather so I can get home and get vapnig again.

How do those kits compare to the ones on "totally wicked" ? Like the eGo C and all this....

I guess even with those £30 kits by the time you have bought another battery and some juice then it is going to be more like £50.... I would like to just try it out and try some flavours etc. but it is quite a chunk of cash just to try it when you are skint lol.

how many times have the batteries been recharged approx? i may well be interested.

As they are called Drip Tips, Id imagine as they are Cartomizers and the Boge Cartz store the liquid there would be no need for dripping liquid and the drip trip would be soley used as a mouthpiece, Is that correct?

I'll have to have a look to see how many I have total (I think maybe 2 or 3 900mah and 2 or 3 of the standard 650mah). The smaller ones will have had a year of every other day charges, and the biggies will have about half that. I think one of the big batts is reasonably new. Either way, the big ones all hold a charge for a day's use at least (maybe two depending on use), but I have no idea what voltages they're outputting at different points in their discharge cycle.

Here it all is. Found a new CE4 atty in my draw so that's a freebie

Hi Guys,

Seriously considering replacing my fags with these. What would you guys recommend as the best starter kit for anything up to £50 please.

Currently I smoke about 20 a day, Silkcut Silvers.... My brother would also be looking to make the switch and smokes B&H Gold around 14 fags a day.... And we would each be getting one :)
