I test fitted the keeppower batts down the local vape shop, TW branded so not much choice, but the vamo has the biggest battery compartment, bigger than thevape pro or evic in compared it to and longer than the old lavetube but thinner.

I agree with others in the thread the vamo is very good, especially when you take the low price into account, also very simple functions, just hold left for batt voltage, right for atty ohms etc, rather than constant clicking 5,7 times etc to change readout

Postman arrived with some of this today, Unsure on it smells beyond amazing but after filling into a CE8 Clero I can't distinguish the taste I am getting and also it's quite a dry hit on the throat. Will have to order another DCT as I am a big fan these suit me down to the ground been using one since yesterday no wicking problems with a tank... bliss

Edit: Using one of these would anyone know what brand the Carto within it is?http://www.theelectroniccigarette.c...-tank/35ml-dual-coil-tank-single-product.html Totally wicked logo packaging.

Also has a problem with an ego twist cutting out every couple of seconds, decided to send it back and get a refund was from Vapeland came in a plain white box.

Looked up genuine joytech sellers and bought an Ego Twist from TEC (The Electronic Cig Company) and the quality is different gravy and also came in a joytech branded box as is the logo inprinted on it Joytech so it seems Vapelands are bad knock offs!

It will probably be a smoktech if it's a dual coil carto. I think Boge are more preferable but aren't dual coil.

AGR Tank is the business for me, for the foreseeable future. If you're a fan of Boge cartos, this thing is a no-brainer. Top notch and cheap as chips.

I must also mention the retailer VapeGear.co.uk who I ordered it from... outstanding service and some of the fastest shipping I've ever seen.

I've been using apple flavour juice for www.vapeesape.co.uk and the flavour seems to have gone weaker is it because I've gotten used to it or do they loose flavour over time?

It didn't taste that strong to start with. Apparently they make there own juice

Are the juices different from different places?

Well, after completely forgetting about my giving up smoking thread and caving after a month or so, I've taken up the challenge to give up smoking again (largely due to an impending marriage and a disapproving fiancee).

I'm curious though, and would like some advice on what people's opinions are in regards to something like the £20 starter bundle here here versus the £10 off-the-shelf 10motives rechargeable stick I picked up in Sainsburys the other day.

Will just put it out there and say I'm actually very impressed with the 10motives stick so far (after a couple of days use with no cravings for the old smelly variety), so much so that I've actually bought a pack of 5 cartomisers to keep me going until I find a more long-term vaper - judging by this thread alone, there's a lot to look at!

I'm on my phone so will answer more fully tomorrow, but there's a very similar kit at vapourhut which is better value (2 batteries, case) for £30. You will definitely want 2 batts. Better to get something with good performance and customizability since it's a long term every day thing. Glad to hear you're already getting on well with vaping, hopefully we'll get you set up with something that you like and that'll save you some dosh.

Thanks Devrij, nosing around their site now. Any advice appreciated, "proper" vaping seems to be a little more complex than the simple screw-it-in-and-go approach of the 10motives!

Should also say, I'm intrigued by the notion of a vaping pipe rather than a regular cigarette style vape... I dunno, will see what you recommend :)

Good prices there. Tanks and Cartos are really good. I was looking at a Diver or Killer to put in a tank but I'm getting too carried away :D

How long you been vaping it? You probably got used to the flavour tbh. I change flavours daily, also I noticed that regular food tastes salty.

Is this the same as the one you linked to? It does look it but minus the ejuice

You can always get 2 and keep 1 as a backup.
How many cigs did you smoke a day and what did you smoke? That will decide what strength ejuice to buy.

In terms of ejuice there are many to choose from and it's down to individual tastes and a voyage of discovery, but make sure you choose a good nicotine strength, I recommend 18 and 24mg 5ml samples to start of with. If 24 is too strong then try 18, but the nicotine will crush the cravings so don't go too light, otherwise you'll be chain vaping. On average 3ml should last a day.

I've not used the 10 motives so can't really compare.

An expensive day for me, I've ordered:

Warlords 3.7v Box Mod - £15 inc postage
XTAR SP2 Li-ion battery charger £24.95 (free postage)
x2 AW 14500 Protected 3.7 Volt Li-ion Rechargeable £17.90 (free postage)
Vmax Variable Voltage Battery MOD V2 - Special Offer Price £39.99 (free postage)
2x Torchy IMR 18350 850mAh Li-Ion 3.7v Li-Ion batteries + case £7.99 (free postage)

So £105.83 spent so far and I've yet to decide on eliquid, carts and or clearos. I'm thinking of getting carts for the box mod and something fancy for the vmax, any suggestions?

Im using 1.5ml PG nic (8mg strength), 3.3ml of PG and 4ml (40%) of VG, but its still too harsh on my throat. The pre mixed liquid i liked the most was apparently 35% VG but it had no where near the throat hit my 40% mix has. I have a feeling ill have to add distilled water if i go higher than 40% VG to make it thinner. Will more VG and less PG reduce the harshness?

Im thinking if i water down my VG ill put say 10ml of VG in a bottle then add 2ml of water. This will then be my new VG mix. Is that the right way of doing it?

I have absolutely no idea to be honest

On a normal work day it can be anywhere from 5 to 20, Amber Leaf tobacco. I tend not to smoke in the evenings and on weekends unless there's beer involved. I would still class myself as a fairly heavy smoker, though.

Well, the 10motives came with a 16mg cart, and the refills I've ordered are 18mg. The 16mg doesn't really cut it in terms of taste or strength, am hoping the extra 18mg makes a difference but I'll probably plumb for a 24mg and work down from there when I get something decent.

- Yes it will mute the throat hit
- Not sure, but you add 10% of Water, so for 10ml you should be adding 1ml if you are making a 100% VG based ejuice.
- If you're mixing VG and PG together then the PG should be sufficient enough to thin it down. Try a 50% 50% mix and see how it goes.

What PV and juice delivery system are you using?
It could be a case that the air hole maybe too small, not lined up correctly or you need to change your wicks or dry burn them if gunk has built up.

I'm 90% certain it's the same, bar the ejuice which you can always buy, but Devrij or someone else can confirm.

Amber Leaf contains 1.19mg nicotine, so smoking 20 a day would be 23.9mg and 5 is 5.95mg. I wouldn't say you're a heavy smoker 5 is nowt lol

You can go higher than 24mg, but 18 and 24mg are a good starting point.
I really like Jack the Ripple from T-Juice atm. Also remember to Google discount codes for vendors, Planet of the Vapes and UK Vapers keep a regular update for discount codes.

POTV20 gives 20% off at CoolVape which is where you can buy T-Juice

HTH

Very happy with my Smoktech DCT but many people prefer Boge's?

Cost me £10/11 for a Smoktech just ordered 2 Boge F16 for £5 each (£4 something with discount)

Great value in comparison has anyone had/got both to explain the pro's and con's between the two or is it down to preference?

Also Dev, I have 4 barely used, cleaned Viv Nova Mini's if you would be interested for exchange for some Liquid or a small fee?!
